Yesavage's success so far is founded on his unique over the top 65° throwing angle that's been too soon for hitters to be able to figure out yet. The key is "yet" because it'll to be interesting to see how hitters adjust as they see him more and hitting coaches have more video to analyze his throw. Then Yesavage will need to adjust to those adjustments & we'll see how this evolves before anointing him better than the likes of Roy Halladay.

Sit on the fastball, looking for opposite field hit - then turn on it if it's that change-split that floats up in the zone (leave the ones that drop off). Still difficult for LHB because of the change-split's away-fade but possible for RHB

It was particularly troublesome for the Yankees because their hitting approach is about generating launch angle, which for Yesavage's height and over-the-top delivery is difficult

Yesavage would make for a filthy closer with his stuff. Batters would find it super hard to adapt to his delivery after 8 innings of another pitchrr.

Errors keeping the Yankees in this one. Jays will still win it.

This wouldn't even be a game without some of that sloppy defense.

Get the bats going again and close this out!

They should've kept Scherzer on the roster, if they were going to do a bullpen game may as well try Scherzer as one of them and then hope he's good and eats half the game.

Max is washed.

Whether he starts or comes out the pen, he'd get trounced by the Yanks lineup.

IKF making an error on a routine play - Schneider not calling for the ball in a clear obvious play, Schenider bringing in Varland who has already give up two homers to judge in the past. All stuff that just gave the game away.

But who was expecting us to sweep the Yankees coming in? Annoy the heck out of them with singles and great defensive plays and close this out today

ALCS. Clutch game from the bullpen and timely hits as usual.

Kind of feel for Yankees fans. They’re in the playoffs like every year, have great seasons all the time, and they just never win it. It’s almost better to just know you suck and never have a shot and just once in a few years make a run.

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.
