The lack of spacing in this era really makes this more impressive. The first clip had like 3 bigs in the in the paint while miller was posting up. Simmons could have learned a lot from some of the older era guards posting up, especially with his ability to create mismatches and counter the help with his passing vision

Things could be so much worse:

We could be the Suns who haven't played Maluach or Fleming for a single second of this preseason game.

Kon Kneuppel can hit open 3s.

It's very possible. Karl Malone was a legit all-star at age 38 and was even still playing at that level at 39 though he didn't make the all-star team. LeBron is a similar physical specimen.

I don't know why you mentioned that Malone's efficiency dropped. I never said that Malone's level of play didn't drop or that LeBron's will never drop. I said that Malone was still in an all-star in his late 30s and LeBron also could be. Also more of Malone's shots came outside 10 feet than inside at that age.

LeBron is extremely skilled and barring a catastrophic injury like Kobe's I think he'll still be an all Star level player in 5 years. His body could break down but it also might not. Malone's didn't. We'll see what happens with LeBron.

LeBron still going strong reminds me to bump this conversation from 8 years ago.

Ace Bailey, along with Sensabaugh, played well tonight. He was efficient, contributing effectively in his role as a third or fourth option.

Bailey shot well from 3 and had good drives. I wanted him badly. Lets hope VJ can shoot better, but i think ace was the pick. Its too soon, but he had the size we needed.

Besides shooting well from 3 his mid range jumper is money. That was the main thing i was excited drafting him( and his defensive potential).

Kon is laying bricks tonight but I like how aggressive he is and his knack for finding open spots on the floor.

I might be putting Charlotte at the top of my League Pass list after watching this preseason game. They are gonna play fast and with Kon/Lamelo they have some fun passing on the team. I hope they stay healthy this year.
