All joking aside, I think Russ needs to retire. Not at the end of the season, but like right now.

We’ve all seen guys hold on for too long. But this is reaching levels I’ve never seen.

I legit have never seen a coach and players act like they did when Dart went out for a few plays. They were acting like fans, weren’t even trying to hide how badly they didn’t want Russ out there.

That was funny to watch, but also damn that was hard to watch and see how far Russ has fallen

The Giants need to do the right thing & send him to Vegas. Have him backup Geno.

Fraud is strong, but the parallel is there. Like the Chiefs, the Eagles find ways to win, but something looks very off.

Take a look at what became of Marion Barber III (Marion the Barbarian). Ended up with a terrible case of CTE. He ended up doing some crazy stuff like running into moving cars like he was trying to run through them. I believe he ended up dying of a heatstroke in his apartment somewhere here in the Dallas area. Very tragic. Likely caused by his running style which was similar to Skattebo.

I am convinced Skat and Dart have an on-going bet which one can get diagnosed with CTE first.

Fraud is strong, but the parallel is there. Like the Chiefs, the Eagles find ways to win, but something looks very off.

Injuries don’t help but I maintain that the biggest issue is the offense, specifically the playbook. Kevin patullos offense just isn’t very creative, is repetitive, and the route concepts take wayyy too long to develop which means Jalen hurts needs to hold the ball longer and/or force throws before he should. Also seems like they are just scared to use Jalen hurts sometimes which is weird.. This is a Super Bowl winning QB, use him like one.. In previous games it has looked like the offense has flowed better when Jalen hurts audibles at the LOS and in I think the rams game there was a long throw to saquon Barkley that after the game Barkley said that wasn’t even part of the playbook, Jalen hurts dialed that one up.

That being said, I thought Jalen hurts had a bad game against the giants. I’ll have to watch the all 22 but it looked to me like in this one he just straight up missed some opportunities that were there. The interception was just a straight up bad throw, he also missed devonta smith for a wiiiide tf open TD and AJ brown on a few others. He hasn’t been perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but he hasn’t had these issues as much in previous games.

Also the OL is just not good this year. The OL currently has a lot of injuries but in previous years was good enough to make up for it. Landon Dickerson, cam jurgens, and lane Johnson I think have been clearly playing injured. Eagle fans have been calling for Landon specifically to just sit out for a couple weeks and it looks like that’ll finally happen as he’s looked way worse than usual Landon. Jurgens probably needs to sit out too to be honest.

On defense, I think the biggest issue is there is no pass rush. Getting Nolan smith and Jalen Carter back will help but I think the eagles need to trade for a pass rusher. Zadarius smith signing with the eagles helped but I think they need more. There’s rumors they might turn Jihaad Campbell into a pass rusher when nakobe dean is healthier but that might be too much for a rookie to handle, plus Campbell has been really good in his current role so why move him? CB2 is also a need for sure but I think pass rusher is #1 priority right now on that side of the ball.

Lastly I think an underrated move is changing the kick returner. I have never in my life seen a kick returner fumble the ball this much leading to consistent drives started at their own 6 or 8 yard line.. it’s insane.. And then because the eagles OC is a scared little bitch, he runs the ball 3 straight times for a total of 3 yards then punts out of his own end zone.

lol so basically there’s a lot of issues, but I said this before the season even started that for some reason during the nick sirianni era the eagles ALWAYS start seasons slow. I’m not sure why. It’s like they always have to have a “come to Jesus talk” midway through the season to get them playing better, more disciplined football. Why can’t they work on it to begin the year? Giving away valuable games here..

They both have so much talent but also both sacrifice their body too much. I think skattebo is the kind of player that would get a concussion and stay in the game and still try to run somebody over on the very next play. Hopefully that won’t lead to a huge brain injury in the future.

Brian Daboll has weird clock management. Luckily for him it didn’t bite him in the ass in this one but he called a timeout at the end of the half when the eagles were about to run out of time. It would have 100% been a delay of game penalty if not for daboll calling timeout as the eagles offense wasn’t set yet. That was one of the weirdest timeout calls I’ve ever seen. Then on 4th and 9 and the giants already up 10, he said after the game that he would’ve called a timeout to get dart back on the field to go for it on 4th and 9 if the athletic trainer cleared Dart. I like the aggressive mentality but I feel like in that situation you don’t go for it on 4th and 9, risk not converting, and the eagles would need to go like only 15 yards for a field goal. Could’ve put the eagles right back in the game.

In Cali HS football history, Scatteboo is a Legend. This dude smashed his way to a State Title. He will be a Major Force for the Giants this season

Yeah he is done.

He had a good time in the NFL with the Legion of Boom and Seattle's 12th man. But those days are long gone now.

Can kind of see that. Romo was and elite scrambler in the pocket whereas Dart tends to just rush forward.
