I really didn't want to watch that anymore so I find myself in the odd position of being happy the other team won at the end haha

Thankfully, no one on the court late is likely to play any meaningful minutes for this team this season and that includes Scheierman who looks absolutely lost out there. Give Hauser, Minott, and Hugo all the bench wing minutes.
and that's "MR. Irrelevant" to you!!

Forget Baylor Scheireman.
He's just not good enough for the NBA.

The good news is Mynot is looking like a steal and Hugo is looking like an NBA player.
That's already a win for Brad.

Regarding Queta, he's still making the same mistakes from last season.

Garza is looking more reliable than Queta.

And these end of bench guys of the Cs are not really NBA players.

Amari and Shulga seemed pretty useless - don't expect much from 2nd rounders but we also traded a top of the 2nd round pick for them...

(plus some more seconds)

I get why he didn’t but kinda wanted Joe to put Luka, Hugo, Boucher, Minott back in the last 3-4 mins to see how they played in a close end of game

Not a big deal as it was more of about financial than basketball when the Cs made that 2nd round trade.

Brad has been horrible in the draft. Hugo is the only bright spot in his entire history drafting.

Even a blown 27 point lead (sounds familiar) won't upset me this season.. I do want a top 5 pick.. 8-)

Minott + Hugo + Hauser and Simon, I would be all in with as bench players.

Start PP with White.

Disagree with Gaza as a starter. Not being able to jump over paper will get us killed on defense.

Rico can and needs to be better. But at this time he has not shown much improvement for a 26?? year old. Shot selection and constantly front rimming/missing3s. and it's not like his defense can hold his position until his offense comes around (if it will ever do)
2 things need to go.. my lack of spell check and Joe..

To start the season, I think we've really not been passing the ball much.
It seems like everything in the offense is "come give me a screen" and a ballhandler just dribbling all over and to nowhere

I dont think nba tracking stats are tracking passes during preseason but they will be during the season
In the playoffs we were dead last in passes per game out of the 16 playoff teams

But I dont have any other big complaints. Queta stunk and we were without Jaylen, Derrick and Sam Hauser... and we lost a game at the buzzer.

Fun game. I'm glad basketball is Back!

Even more damning is Filipowski is 3 years younger and has already shown more as a player.

And we don’t even know that for certain yet, although I’m a fan of Hugo. I think he’ll at the very least be a useful rotation player in a couple years.

Okay, I'm ready to start Garza, Boucher, Brown, White and Pritchard. Hauser, Minott, Simons, and Neemi are the next 4.

PS Oops--I forgot Hugo. He's in the rotation.
