It’s getting better. I’ll take it. Especially from Wright.

Would love it for both teams. Simmons is a stud that would allow us to put more pressure while allowing Burden more touches. Would also allow us if Jarrett is healthy enough and wanted to, to trade Dexter for other areas such as RB, DE, or LT, imo. Moore is good, but I wonder if he is content not being the alpha with Rome being the alpha now.

If we trade DJ, we are one WR injury away from being the Giants. Luther Burden is still learning the offense and Rome is taking advantage of DJ getting attention. Not like #1 attention. If we trade DJ, it shouldn’t be until the offseason imo.

it’s a new offense for the whole team. How is it any more of a “learning” situation for Burden than anyone else?

didn't he miss a lot of camp?

i think if you took a 15-year veteran NFL WR and a baby and asked them both to learn a brand-new-to-them NFL offense, the veteran WR would have an advantage. from there, you may be able to extrapolate why someone would expect luther burden specifically to take more time to get up to speed than other receivers on the bears roster

Burden did miss a lot of camp, as did Loveland and Turner.

Bears 4.5 underdogs to the Commanders. Bears are much more rested, WAS is at home and a better team. I think it will be a tough one for the Bears to win, mainly because their defense can't stop the run and no one runs it better than WAS. Jayden Daniels could run for 150 yards if they aren't careful.

Burden looks good in limited minutes, opening up the possibility of us chasing a stud DE closer next month with DJ as trade bait. Dresden is right. We need help on that end of the field desperately and DJ and CW never look anywhere near as good as Justin and DJ. Honestly don't know what the problem is. DJ was at elite WR #1 levels with Justin. They doubled him and he still got open. How is he JAG with CW? **** it, let's not overanalyze. Let's admit that it's not working.

I would sleep a lot better if I thought Jeff had nothing to worry about. He clearly does, based on recent history until it is made clear he doesn’t.

It works for the Bears. For the Titans, I’d rather have draft picks. But fit wise, it has some logic

DO NOT TRADE the future picks.

Let’s see what Booker does starting this week. Let’s see what our D looks like with Edwards and Gordon back.

If I’m making a trade it’s Kmet or DJ for a dlineman not a pick.

So don’t expect any major trades this season. Maybe a signing but that’s probably it.

This season is definitely more a roster evaluation

I fully expect us to run the ball better with Theo at LT… which will help Caleb and PlayStation a TON.

I think Swift will have his best game of the season.

WASH nearly lost to a Eberflus lead Bears team last year and that was also in Washington. They only won because Stevenson went stupid. I think the Bears win this game.

I expect Tyrique to make a big play and be locked in too.

Stephenson needs a INT to get the monkey off his back. If he somehow gets a pick 6, it might be the play of the year lol

You could also argue that they're facing a team that beat DET last year in the playoffs- a DET team that beat us 52-10 this year. OTH, WAS is missing their two best WR's, and Deebo may miss the game as well. I hope we at least compete and make it a close game, but I have this one firmly in the L column.

Thanks. Whether or not this reporter/aggregator/podcaster has any juice is TBD, but I still don’t see anything about DJ Moore.

Detroit’s defense was injured in the playoffs.

On the other hand, we’re getting healthier but still don’t have Jaylon Johnson, who is our best defensive player and probably our best player.
