I'll wait till the season actually starts and the effort is a bit more serious, but I still see Jovic as a 3 that can play 4. He is definitely not a 5 (which I think we all knew), but I still think he leans more 3. He actually looks a lot quicker and more limber than I remember. He won't be some dominant force at 3 defensively, and he'll get his share of blow bys, but he should be able to hold his own to cover at the 3, especially with his length. I think he has a better chance at that than going up against the power and athleticism and size he'll see at the 4 anyway. Our rebounding is horrific as is.

I also still do not like Wiggins on this team. He needs to be out on the first thing smoking as soon as the Lakers are ready to deal. No hard feelings, I can see him trying hard or whatever, but get him off this team. Let Jovi get his due reps at 3.

Jovic takes a nice leap
And Herro can sustain all star form.

We can offer a great package to the Bucks next offseason. We must re-sign Powell and possibly Wiggins depending how he looks.

That spacing is putrid.

I love Bam but dude goes stretches where he can barely hit a jumper. he's been our worst offensive player alongside Keshad Johnson in preseason and it took him half a season to get going last year. Bam and Giannis shooting would permanently dent rims.

If Ware comes alive and Bam stays the same Bam of the past 8 seasons, its probably Bam that would be the centerpiece in a Giannis trade. Giannis and Bam together while simultaneously getting rid of all our players that are actually outside threats on offense makes very little sense, and I'm sure even they know that.

It's well known that I've said for a long time that Bam is what he is on offense, which is a limited player. But I am finding myself wishfully thinking again that maybe watching A'ja and also with a full season with Jimmy out of the picture something will finally click with him.

Fun fact, Edrice led all centers in mid range jumpers made last season and shot a higher percentage than guys like AD, Towns, Sengun, Vuc, Wemby etc. while shooting a career high 36% from 3 on 3 attempts a game (45% post ASB). Jimmy couldn’t shoot for **** and they made it work and Bam is a better shooter now than he ever was with Jimmy. If you can pair those 2 you do it, but we can’t. This is just more goal post moving nonsense like we always see when we strike out on a star.

Would have to think vets would be trying to get a spot on the roster like they were when we fumbled Dame. Get Gary Trent in the trade as well and there’s some much needed shooting. Hope would be Davion continues to build of what he showed last year and becomes a reliable shooter. Think you get him and worry about the rest later but like I said this is just Hope trafficking stuff again

I aint on the Ware bandwagon after one game. Let’s see him play well for at least 1/3 of a season before we even serious consider him being a good player. I do want him to succeed though. Just being realistic. Been down too many roads of hype to jump on a the first bus without much data.

A good player? He has been a good player. The question is can he be an elite dominant player or is he just a good role player. Just because coaches critique and pushes him to be better doesn't mean he is a bad player.

sounds like the bro offed himself which is quite sad. i known schizophrenics which medications help while i have heard that these same meds doesnt help others for some reason that escapes me and obviously duncan's bro was one of those ppl that doesnt adjust to the meds very well. duncan is right there's not an unified system where medics can access the history of the patient. you have to tell them the whole story once again and specially if you change providers or lose your doctor for some other reason. i feel bad for him really watching a relative destroy himself is though and if you are sensitive it will leave you scarred for the rest of your life

He is a rookie. He showed more in his limited time most player on the team not named Bam and Herro. We made him untouchable for a reason.

This season is all about Bam.
Can he transition to play PF full time like he wants?
Can he justify his max salary at the PF position?

Ware is not going to play like a PF so something has got to give here. I think Bam has a shot to transition full time into PF and then we can use the front court of Bam and Ware to punish teams with size. If Bam can’t cut it at PF, then the Jovic signing makes more sense and we need to trade Ware before he forces the issue.

Unfortunately it’s looking like Jovic is the starter, Bam has played 0 minutes at PF this preseason BUT Jovic is out tomorrow so maybe they look great with Ware in place of Jovic tomorrow and it intrigues Spo

I am not even remotely going to offer advice to people going through this, but I went through this with my father....it sucks, it is hard no doubt, but what I took away from it was the way the system works is they do not want to repeat what has failed in the pass. If a person with mental health issues shows up, they want to built a clean case file and follow their protocol ....so that means me telling the entire story again, and again....and yet again.


That is either an ethical thing to leave no stone unturned or a CYOA thing to make sure those that have a stake in the issue are proving the information....I don't know....but they very much run that way for a reason. If I had to put money on it...like everything else some insurance company gave them a check list and come hell or high water it's getting filled out.


Not to knock Duncan, but if he thought it was challenging when you're pulling in millions a year....and can put a dedicated healthcare provider in your brothers orbit 40 hours a week... he would not want to see what the rest of us go through...
