Patrick was the unsung hero tonight. Put them to bed when we were in big trouble.

Can't remember the last time I've been this happy.

Keep it going. Beat the asses off the goliath.

Two on, one out and Suzuki/Happ at the plate. And then follows with a 1,2,3 seventh.

You can argue with Murphy on a few decisions this series but by and large he punched the right buttons.

To not have to add this to Wisconsin sports collapses is spectacular.

A loss tonight would have been devastating. I hate the Cubs more than any other sports franchise. But winning tonight is my favorite non title clinching victory of my life. I'm so happy

My son is 9 and still learning about baseball and players, but he loves the game and this team.

Right before the game tonight, he said, "I keep forgetting the Cubs manager's real name. Is it Greg Counselor?"

"Yes, son. That's what it is. Now don't forget it."

I was at an outdoor event north of Chicago, anxiously checking the game feed every few minutes.

Alright, it's the top of the 9th. Three outs to go.

I put the phone away.

Suddenly, I heard a cheer from the crowd. My heart sank.

Then I hear someone yelling.

"Yeah, **** the Cubs! I don't care about the Brewers, but I'm a White Sox fan, so anyone but the Cubs."

I smiled as I walked away.

Lot of salty Cubs fans upset about the Brewers flying the L Flag lmao. The amount of "Wrigley North" signs or flags I saw at the game, and they turn around and fold at the sight of Brewers ribbing them back. Hilariously soft city and fanbase.

He's been absolutely awesome for over a month now. As good as he was last night, believe it or not it was a slight step back from the absolutely surgical work he's been doing. I hope they can find a way to give him some rest in game 1 because I think he needs a couple days off.
Wut we've got here is... faaailure... to communakate.
