If you read this board too much, you'd be convinced Kuzma and Prince were starting. If you follow the teams words and actions, you'd know this lineup is the way forward.

The real question is if Kuzma has much of a role at all? Bobby should continue as the backup 4/5. Hopefully Kuzma is gone by the Washington game.

Isnt green alittle short to be the 3 h es not a protypical 3 n think once the bucks trade kuzma for either DD or barret he eill be going back to 6th msn xtrodinar

Green can play the 3 no problem because she's pretty dang strong and handled bigger guys plenty. Probably works better for him to guard the bigger guys because he isn't as fast as others.

It's not his height, it's his lack of reach and athleticism that will get him in trouble. He is good enough to not be a push over but players can get their shot off over him.

The Bucks need to start off hot early until January and have teams like the Kings, Pelicans, Bulls, Phoenix, and Indy. Hopefully players like Ellis/Murray, Jones/Poole, Okoro/Dosunmo, Brooks, and Mathurin/Huff. I also think Mann would be okay depending on how well of a start they get off. Maybe they hedge by taking on a contract with an extra year for a decent wing.

Once Giannis realizes he will be having fun again with this team a lot of this hand-wringing will be for nought.

Trent is the 3, just like last year. That makes it easier to hide Trent's mediocre lateral quickness

Everyone knows what assets are out there. Everybody on this board knows that. This nonsense that his agent is doing something that anyone with internet access is laughable. You could also listen to one of the 19,000 podcasts that beat this into the ground. Yet somehow i only ever hear about all the players that teams won’t give up for Giannis.

No matter what buddy is under contract for two more years.

horst isnt picking up the phone. his agent is. if his agent puts together a deal with a destination giannis likes then thats when the volume will get turned up.

round one instructions to "talk to the knicks" has started the process. shams now works for giannis and his people. of that we should all have no doubt

until the next time its a holding pattern with shams exerting pressure.

but to me there is no question that giannis feels hes holding all the cards and is ready to rock out more than he wants to be here. we'll see. season is gonna be a clown show if i had to bet on it

The Knicks called us, we hung up. If you make up any more stories, we'll call you Shams.

NY is a really bad trade partner. No draft capital, no young stars and no players who are equal to Giannis.

Most of the Knicks players are non assets because of oversized contracts.

Giannis literally said "I'm locked in for the season". Everything you're saying is paranoid conjecture. You have no info that the Knicks called because Giannis agent called them. Every team calls, every year.

Giannis has said the same thing now as he's said for years. He's here as long as we're winning. For the 1st time in his career, he's surrounded by a team that properly compliments his game. The remnants of Buds glacier slow veterans are gone. The slow trigger shooters are gone. Uncaring Dame is gone.

Also, the Knicks are the team that could have an awful start. They made an abysmal coaching hire.

Also as much of a distraction all this garbage may be for us (in actuality we could play up the nobody believes in us angle) this may be an even worse distraction for the Knicks. Maybe we should start seeing if we could trade for Anunoby. Kuzma plus work?

Haven’t been to a game since 2018 I think I can catch a few lower bowl games this year if prices stay this low.

The Warriors single visit has always been a premium ticket. The October 30 game has some lowers under $100 and plenty of uppers in the $60-$70 range.

A good start will increase prices but fans are definitely in wait and see mode. As are many of us here.

As far as my belief in this team to compete at a high level (i.e. ECF or Finals) that is definitely wait and see.

But I went to games when our best players were Blue Edwards or Ricky Pierce. This team could be 30-52 and I'd still go to a game or two. But I will admit Giannis makes going to the game much more exciting.

Thanks for the heads up. Just bought 4 for the Saturday Kings game.

Great post! I agree whole heartedly.

Piggy backing off having fun with this team, I’m still bearish on Kuzma but I think some pseudo Giannis role with the 2nd unit could be beneficial for him and the team. It’s an easy way to control him where Doc can pick and choose his spots so chaotic Kuz can’t be overly detrimental.

I’d say our 9 man rotation is pretty much set and again, like you said it’s going to be a fun team. Based off the 5v5 practice footage of AJ Greens alley oop, it looks like the starters were KPJ/Trent/AJG/Fr34k/Myles with Rollins/Anthony/Ajax/Coffey/Bobby on defense.

Everyone keeps talking about the upgrade from Brook to Myles Turner but I think everyone is looking at that completely wrong. The fast paced successful lineup was Bobby and Giannis, not Brook. Brook played in the starting lineup with Dame/Prince/Kuz/Giannis and that’s night and day polar opposite situation Myles is stepping into now.

That KPJ/Trent/Green/Giannis/Bobby lineup we had all our success with has an upgrade from Bobby Portis which is significantly more important than I’ve seen anyone talking about….

Giannis has shooters, defenders, athletes, physicality and high character players all around him, a well respected coach and his brother. I think ppl underrate the current situation because the media has driven down everyone’s throats it’s hard not to second guess things and we’ve had bad luck since 2021 but all that is finally about to change now. I believe 100% with the success the Bucks and Giannis will have this year and the added flexibility for roster moves, Giannis signs his extension.

We’re all going to be witnesses of a huge shift in trajectory with this roster and that includes Giannis. He’ll have the best seat in the house watching KPJ, AJ Green and Ryan Rollins all transcend into viable core pieces on a championship caliber team.

The chemistry between Dame/Giannis and Dame's defense was so bad that I think there is a high likelihood it's addition by subtraction and were better without him. Turner replacing Slopez is an insane difference too. This team is built for regular season basketball.

Dame was a bad match with Giannis.Expect Turner to be a good complement.

Jrue and Khris along with a younger Lopez were perfect complements for Giannis. We still don’t have a team with such perfect matching. But the current team has decent defense and great shooting ability. Kpj has a high ceiling. Lack of size and/or skill at the sf position is a major drawback; Khris had everything before he got hurt —— he was the perfect complement for Giannis. If only we could roll back the clock..
