He is a mid defender, passer, dribbler, finisher, and overall contributor. He gets bullied inside and gets put on skates by quick guards so he doesn’t really have a position to guard. He can do a pop-a-shot and he looks aesthetically good but his efficiency is trash.
He is effectively just like a tall Duncan Robinson right now. He doesn’t do anything for us as a creator or penetrator and he’s so so bad in the paint.
Idk if it’s our player development or what but I’m just not seeing it at all with him. It remains to be seen if he can improve but he is wildly overrated right now imo. He’s so unexceptional, for a star you need to see something tangibly great. In every respect he just lacks it, and I don’t see it getting much better.

I'm not sure Miller is going to develop into the player I thought he would be from his rookie season. He hasn't really improved since his rookie year. Weak handle, lack of shot creating, no playmaking skills.
We take Ace we could have used Miller in a significant trade down the line if Ace proved to be a superstar.

You were right all along.
Ace looks like a bona fide superstar, just a stud in all aspects. He would probably have taken Miller’s starting spot this year

You mean like the ones we drafted #2 and #6 two years straight? Begs the question if you aren't trying to oversimplify things for your agenda.
Yeah not sure why people were against it as if having 2 scoring wings is a bad thing.JMAC3 wrote:EmpireFalls wrote:JustBuzzin wrote:Main reason I wanted Ace Bailey

Can you imagine if we had both him and Ace and both deserved to start on this team? What a disaster that would be...

Sucks we didn't draft him, but it is what it is you live and you learn lol

I'm not even saying Kon will be a terrible pick, but so far if you look at Bailey vs Kon to me it is very evident the ceilings as players is very different. Drafting for fit in the top 5 of the draft is just such a bad process and I think we will pay the price, but you just hope the front office is smarter moving forward.
