Can he transition to play PF full time like he wants?
Can he justify his max salary at the PF position?

You know what this blurb reminded me of? How Zo was during the season of Isaac Austin. Maybe my memory is wrong, but my rumor memory remembers that Zo initially wanted to be a power forward. Not a center. Zo was definitely undersized at center, but he had the skill and the will to push through the pain. Then apparently the pain meds he was on after games destroyed his body. What do I base that on? Zo commenting how he could not take pain relievers after a game and he wasn’t talking about tylenol or aspirin. If those pain meds aren’t healthy for his body with kidney problems, what were those meds doing to his kidneys in the first place?

Fast forward to today and rumor is Bam doesn’t want to play center. But why? I guess guys like Jokic really are next level simply due to size. If so, Ware needs to step his game up. Jovic and Precious aren’t options to start. Either Ware works out, or the team loses with Bam at PF. Center Bam is just not possible. Look at what playing PF, did to undersized Battier too. He got broken, same **** would happen to Bam at C .

Also don’t forget what happened to Justice Winslow.

Bam is much better as a C than a PF. He can't pass, shot or handle enough as a 4. Last season barely as a 5 if being honest. Bam himself realized this last season as well which is why he lost his mojo. This unfortunately also makes him even more overpayed than if he played as a 5. Ware needing starter minutes to develop doesn't mean that Bam all of a sudden gained parameter skills.

The Ware vs Jovic is manufactured by podcaster and leaned into by the org to protect Bams ego.

Trade him for the best young package and picks before it's too late. Ideally for a SF under the age of 25.

The Heat was ok with Bam at powerforward. The Heat failures last season was the guards not the frontcourt

my interest in todays game is how Mitchell fits and I suspect to see Precious playing with rotation players and curious how that will look. And of course another look at Jakucionis

Putting Kel'el out there with zero shooting should be a criminal offence

Ummm yeah. Bam is a passing ball handling big and Herro is a jump shooter. Kas is a pass first point guard and Ware is primarily a lob finisher.

Very disappointed in Thompson. I thought he would show some high level shooting potential

Bam can jump and finish oops, just need more chemistry from those two.

I've seen Herro throw lob passes to Ware, so why not throw to Bam.

Bam is 6'9 and Ware finds spaces around the rim a bit better. You can't really over throw Ware in a crowd.

People have to just accept that Bam main attribute is as a distributor and decision maker with the ball. Herro is a finisher (shooting), not a distributor. The relationship will be Bam getting Herro shots if the relationship ever has success. Since Bam has the ball and the one making decisions, its up to him to decide to take open shots instead of forcing a pass.
