I like em both. Shead has a nose for the rim and athleticism Chucky doesn't. Would be cool to actually keep them both on the roster, that backup PG position has been bad since Fred forced himself to be a starter, and I'm still not sold on IQ as a PG.

Scottie just doesn’t take preseason or the regular season or the first 3 rounds of the playoffs seriously. When we make the finals he’ll show us all how good he really is.

the criticism on his scoring is obvious, and fair…but he’s playing well in many other aspects that will always get overlooked (playmaking, defence). he’s +22 this game, could probably get nearly triple double if he played regular minutes, but fans are acting like the season’s a wrap for him after this preseason game lol

let’s wait until the regular season before we overreact

Scottie’s offence was doomed the moment he didn’t fire his childhood trainer after his 2nd season.

He can’t shoot or drive. There’s no fixing that. Luckily he’s still a great passer and borderline elite defender. Just gotta hope he can embrace a 3rd option role on offence.

Holy **** guys it’s his fifth year borderline insanity with you guys. Kevin Durand just put up an easy 20 as near 40 year old with injury history… wanna know why? Because he can. All of Scottie’s failures in his ability to score and be efficient are just because he can’t there’s no **** excuses. these discussions would make sense if this was his 2nd or 3rd season who has had no freedom to shine.. Not as a fifth year vet who was already handed the keys and failed

This is the Scottie who can be the best player on the court in any game

His problem is consistency and mindset. He needs to believe he’s the best player on the court and stop deferring to his teammates all the time

To be fair though, all he did was make two low % shots and get fouled

I saw tough shot making, defensive presence and playmaking

The rebound and assist to Quick for the 3, all in one motion?? No one else on this team can make that kind of play

Tough shot making is nice, but it shouldn’t ever be relied upon as it is always just a low % play.

Props as he made the shots (and finished 3/11), but they also were very low % low IQ shots.
