Not fair that Gaus gets charged the ER for a walk yet Little allowed the wild pitch AND the base hit

Little far more to blame

We would be down 2-1 against Detroit too. We forgot how to hit all of a sudden. At least losing to the Mariners is less embarrassing.

A HR to a guy that hit 60+ in the season (on a perfectly fine pitch too) then a walk isn’t enough to pull a guy that was dealing otherwise and hadn’t even eclipsed 80 pitches yet. At the very least, Gausman should have been given a chance to get Polanco before bringing in Little for the Naylor matchup.

Are any of Mariners relievers unavailable after the 15 inning game?
There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes.

yup over managing

This FO and manager is so preoccupied with platoon splits that they don't even care about the true talent level. Gausman -> Little is truly stupid

Yep pull your ace starter at 76 pitches to bring in a mediocre reliever with a runner on base, at least bring in Varland or something.

Also wtf was that pitch sequence? They just threw inside every pitch until he eventually hit one.

I hate the move there by Schneider just from a confidence and chemistry standpoint.

Schneider over managing and Little knuckle curveball erratic pitches. Baffling what’s going on atm. Seattle playing like the better team not playing off of a 15 game inning 2 days ago.

Return to Toronto Blue Jays
