Everything they have been doing this preseason was what I was looking for last year. They even played Kuz next to Giannis at the 4/5 last night for a few minutes. Clearly the front office got to Doc

Ya I was kinda disappointed no Livingston in this game I rather have him play then Coffey. We got enough 3 pt shooting so Coffey not really needed. So now final spots really will be interesting since Ajax back playing Pretty good.

More shooting isn't needed when we have a team with Giannis and Kuzma on it? Shooting is inherently going to have rough streaks as guys get nagging hand/wrist/shoulder injuries (or just mental lapses). We are young at the 1-3 now and are going to need to have guys to rotate in and make shots to keep the engine going. Best bet is hopefully get Coffey comfortable with the defense because Liv will probable never be able to shoot like Coffey does.

They could really establish a winning bench culture and I’m excited to see that.

Yes and also for us to really be serious and make runs this year these "young" dudes need to start playing more like vets as far as discipline/poise/protecting the ball.

16 played so it was already pretty thin. It will be interesting to see the minutes distribution in our final tune-up tomorrow night. I imagine you give the starters some burn. Beyond that who knows. There's no sense playing anyone who isn't making the team.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Kuz not being able to finish plays inside makes him a very rough fit on this team. Can we summon someone to help him just slow down/change speeds before his layups? Richard Jefferson, come back and help this dude or he'll be playing in China soon. He's a little tough but not enough to just bullyball everyone... slow down and use some touch little guy.

Really hope Bouyea doesn't take away too many touches for Sears in Oshkosh. Sears should be on-ball as much as possible. That Sears-Nance 2-man game is going to be nice.

I get what you’re saying about injuries but I am not giving up on a 21 yr old that has shown he can play when giving time out there. Thing is that player is not getting many minutes when the season starts so I rather it be a young prospect. We already have Prince for that role that Coffey does and he is not beating out Prince for minutes.

Remember playing Boston and Indy and you were glad one of their starters went out that was killing us and then the backup came in draining 3's? Hopefully that's us this year. He's 6'7 also, so when Dairy is struggling against someone taller we have someone to take some of those minutes for him. Keep running in fresh legged 3 and D dudes out there and play fast paced. How many games were we winning by double digits last year and we'd put some slow sweaty lineup that would brick dumb shots and give most of the lead back... We need to keep playing the same speed all game and keep hitting shots all game.. go for 140 every game with top 10 defense.

If Coffey gets used to the defense.. at 6'7 he can play some small 4 and be some Kuz insurance, too. I wish Nance was good enough on D to be Portis insurance but... yeah
