KAT and Bridges.

ETA: isn’t Giannis like a .004% owner of the Brewers?

Pretty sure it's Giannis in one of Myles' IG stories with the rest of the team in a box, Thanasis right next to him. He probably just wanted to chill up there.

Pretty sure Giannis has made it clear that the next person that reports on his kids is gonna get blackballed
Good. That is why they are there.

1) Giannis has moved his family overseas to Greece. That tells you all you need to know. His family, NOT championships, is what is most important to him.

2) A discussion with only one team, the Knicks, has occurred. We don't know who set it up, but I'd be shocked if Giannis's agent wasn't deeply involved. And the NYC area has the largest Greek presence outside of Greece, an area where there are Greek language schools. Do any of you really think that's a coincidence?

Sure, things can change. His family could move back to Milwaukee. But right now, the clock is ticking and having a great year here (finals or better) is not going to change the two points above.

Yup it's already over in my head, he is 100% gone. People need to get on board with that and start discussing the best path forward.

Lol, you think he's going to demand a trade to Greece? If New York was so Greek, they would have just moved there now.

Yup. The only thing this could indicate is an early retirement. Because who moves their family to Greece because they want to live in NY? That makes no sense.

Also, immigrant families live apart from their kids all the time. There could be a million other reasons for this, and we're not exactly that shining city on a hill these days.

Same. Kind of glad it’s happening during a year that I’ve been the least interested in this team since they drafted him. This team is absolutely not competing for a championship. Let’s trade him for something while we still can. It was an amazing run. But it’s done.

A couple of 20's and a Powerball ticket do not equal a hundred dollar bill.

He also said in that same interview that he doesn't want to live in the US anymore. You can read the entire interview here with google translate:

He's always said he's going back to Greece once he retires. That's where he feels most at peace.

If you got money, Greece is the best place on earth. Been 5 times, lived up to 18 months. I'll hopefully retire there.

Mariah report not true:

Giannis Antetokounmpo gave his first interview in a non sports media in Greece and once again repeated that he envisioned himself closing his career on his native country.

Giannis spoke on the “2night show”, a Greek copycat of US late night shows, and he was again very specific about the end of his career.

As he said: “I’m 30 years old, I can play in the NBA until I’m 36-38. I would like to end my career with a Greek team, why not. I don’t want to live in America. As soon as I leave the NBA, I want to return to Greece. I could end my career here, whether this team is called Filathlitikos, or Olympiacos, Panathinaikos, Aris, I’m talking about all the teams now.”

Giannis also talked about his desire to raise his family in Greece – even though the recent reports about his wife and children moving to Athens are not true – and talked about his family and wife, Mariah.

So if the family isn’t moving to Greece and Giannis said he loves Milwaukee, does this mean that the only update compared to this summer is that Shams got a few leaks about the Knicks calling Horst and Horst not being interested?

Then again, we did sign Alex last minute, so there must have been some feud internally. Maybe it really was Eden’s comment. Anyways, this team is going to be really good this season and I’m not worried about the future. I think we cross that bridge next offseason when we get there. Let’s enjoy the ride this year!
