Does John Schneider pull Trey early, if he's in a similar situation as Gausman?

Hopefully Varland is ready for Game 3. He'll be the first reliever they call, no doubt.

Hopefully in a very critical situation just like tonight.

Varsho certainly hasn't made good reads tonight
But he has also.saved the team a ton of runs defensively thru the year.

Also gave up a ton of runs with his arm this year.

You can look up the stats to show this isnt true lol but go off

Varsho miss-reading a tattooed liner off the wall is not the reason were losing this game lol

Varland will start game 4

Unless I guess we want to throw Scherzer in the elimination game, which would be absurd

Varland will pitch high leverage in Game 3, high leverage in Game 4, and then high leverage in every other game after that, if necessary.

A career .294+ hitter makes a difference.

Won’t be necessary if what you say is true about Game 3 and 4.

If we aren’t using Chris Bassitt today in this kind of deficit, they’re probably saving him to start game 4 btw

Kept track for a while, I think it was 8 in a span of 2 weeks. You can look through the Varsho/moreno thread.

Well, in statistics, this requires an understanding of probability theory.

No, just contributing to it.

That’s why saying Vlad is the reason they lost both games remains the most ridiculous thing that’ll be said about this series.
