Things like this are the reason why there are steps to go before he is ready to step into the rotation for a championship contending team. It's what I would call an immaturity in his game, as are some of the things we talk about from a Dillingham or Miller.

It is scary exciting the IQ Beringer shows when it comes to offensive spacing as a big man. Watch just him on a few offensive possessions, it's fun to watch him move around.

I have caught a couple of these Chinese games. It is honestly kind of sad how cooked Justin Holiday is, he's been a rough watch.

Victor Oladipo has been doing solid, but I also think that he is probably done as a rotational player. My assumption is that he will get one more minimum deal and then probably be done.

EDIT: Oladipo's body-language is pretty rough this quarter. He looks exhausted.

My hot take after this preseason is that I think Rocco Zikarsky has the capacity to play limited NBA minutes in certain match-ups.

Good effort form our team tonight. Weak opponent but we shoot well. We have a huge deep roster this year. Hope Finch remember that and give chance to some of the young guys. 10-12 Rotation for regular season, some guys like Hyland, Juzang deserve to show what they can bring. And we can manage min of all our 30 years+ players.

Are you saying right now or as his longterm upside?

I agree. Definitely smart for a guy playing basketball for only few years.

I have to imagine his soccer background really helps him in this area. Can tell he really thinks about angles and where to be as he moves around the court.

Right now, I genuinely believe that he could cover 4-6 minutes stints certain nights without completely cratering the team. Can't do it against five-out teams or with quick scoring guards in the game, but I think he is capable.

I am relatively optimistic that he can grow into being a consistent 12-14 minute a night player in the future.

Being honest, I am just hopeful that this game offers him a bit of confidence going into the season. I think he would still benefit a ton from being a full-time G-League player, but if this can help him get a bit of shooting rhythm, it'll give him a chance to stay in the rotation.

I thought it was noteworthy how highly Matt Lloyd spoke about how much they believe in him. Obviously there will be some "coach speak", but it's not hard to tell when someone is faking praise and he wasn't.

They are playing against Frank Kaminsky and Oladipo :D and it proves our Twolves players do have a future in the Chinese league, just like Stephon Marbury.

I am impressed with Rocco Zikarsky's decision making off of the roll.

Reminder, the combined ages of Joan Beringer and Rocco Zikarsky are less than the standalone ages of Mike Conley and Joe Ingles.

Rob play well but against a weak team. Hope he can translate the way he play tonight against NBA team. He just need to take out the pressure he put on himself which make him rush and overplay at times and he will be fine, he got the talent for it. I still firmly believe he will contribute 12-15 min every night in a positive way.

What should he do? Play badly. He was sensational against a less than NBA level opponent. He did what he should do. He's coming around. Bones on the other hand was 0-5.

Games like this show that they do have NBA level talent, even if it's not NBA championship contender level.

He played well against the Knicks. He's coming around. Hopefully he is now firmly ahead of Bones.

I believe he will be a star and he will be the reason the KAT trade was a good move.

I'm very hopeful of this myself. What a shooting night and 9 assists with only 1 TO. I think he's getting out of his head and just reacting. Hopefully all the people who have wrote him off already are going to look very foolish a few weeks into the season.
