Does John Schneider pull Trey early, if he's in a similar situation as Gausman?

Kirk,Barger didnt work out,and probably wont.
Who else could do a good job there at the 4 slot? Clement deserves a shot.Have to think outside the box we are in.

This offense is going to be atrocious next year with Springer regressing. Barger has already regressed. Clement, Lukes, Gimenez, and Varsho are all sub-100 wRC+ hitters.

It's just going to be Vladdy and bums. And Vladdy will be a bum himself for half the season.

This begs the question what are we gonna do about Bo?
There is going to be a tremendous amount of fan pressure to sign Bo to a big enough contract, thinking it will lead to a WS,otherwise what else can they do to to accomplish that in their mindset that they are already on,and spending at will.Especially after a season where everyone was expecting them to suck, but won the division instead.

Santander should clearly be the cleanup hitter if he's healthy enough to play

The guy hit 40 HR last year and he's been taking good ABs in both series

Fan pressure led to the Jays giving out the worst contract in pro sports history a few months ago

Would like to avoid doing something similar again for at least a bit of time

We could use the baseball version of playoff Kawhi

You win in the playoffs with an exceptional bullpen and Starting Pitching. This front office should prioritize getting Strike Throwers in the bullpen with Velocity and Command. The opposite of wild guys like Little who should not be brought back.

Also acquiring Two more quality Starters, after saying goodbye to Scherzer and Bassit. Even Bieber should not be brought back depending on what he is looking for. Paying a slow, bad defensive SS who is made out of Glass and a free swinger like Bo, is not the right course of action anymore. Especially after you have Ryan Goins 2.O Gimenez being paid like an all-star for the next 4 years.

I’ll still take him myself at that money

Kirk had a solid year, but is nowhere near a Top 10 MLB player. Based on what? The number of buffets he can mow down? I know you love the guy, but get real for a minute. The guy had a solid bounce back year, but definitely not a Top Ten player.

Kirk sucked for the last five weeks of the regular season hitting wise, and hit an atrocious .203 for the month of September. That is not Top Ten material. His hitting numbers overall were not Top Ten also, and ended the year with a 2.3 WAR (not Top Ten). He should not be mentioned as the same breath as Raleigh. I commend him for having a nice bounce back year though.

Check the fWAR rates, he’s the best and most valuable player we’ve got

There aren’t 10 guys I’m taking over him

 Not even top 10 in his own organization.

Would have liked to have seen a pitching coach or Kirk or anyone go to the mound to slow things down with Trey when he got stung.Worked for the Mariners in game 1 with Miller. :noway:

Kawhi was great, Lowry was great, siakim was great, fvv, ibaka, norm, gasol and more showed up every game.o.g didnt even play...stars were stars and supporting Cast was supporting...this team has too many passengers, too many no shows, overpaid and underperformed...hot and cold, inconsistent guys..very shakey bullpen..too many stressful games after starters get pulled..bullpen getting shelled every year since shatkins arrived

Message to all our teams. You wanna win,get multiple guys who have won at some point in their career, either in the F.O. the players or coaches.Nick Nurse, and Kawhi both won in S.A.
Spend money that way.Otherwise, draft smart so the fans can see you are headed in the right direction.
Shapiro, and Atkins had left the year before Cleveland went to the WS in 2016,they left in 2015.Is this now a Jay curse.
They made the playoffs, and made bonehead playoff decisions with Shoemaker,Berrios.Cant win making decisions based on what you think will happen to a pitcher who is dealing.Schneider said he also should not have taken Gausman out of the 8-1 lead Seattle game.

Everyone here, including my 101-year-old grandmother, knows this series is over. Yesterday's game was a must-win, and we'll need a miracle to turn the series around. Unfortunately, I don't see that happening.

One of the teams to comeback after losing 2 home games was the 85 Royals. Maybe the baseball God's owe us for that lol

Vladdy going on tv after the Yankees series and doing the "daaaa Yankees lose" was not cool. He needs to learn to be more humble in victory. Karma had turned on vladdy and he and his team are ice cold now.
Be humble in victory and gracious in defeat.

On the other hand after Seattle has beat down the jays they haven't celebrated excessively. Very classy on Seattle's part

It’s been 2 games… when the jays went up 2-0 on the Yankees there was no celebration…

Everyone is bitching about management decisions… the reason why they’ve looked like ass this series compares to Yankees is they can’t score runs… it’s th at simple…

9. Similarly, IF THOU HAST SPENT the entire offseason predicting that thy team will stink, thou shalt not gloat, nor even be happy, shouldst thou turn out to be correct. Realistic analysis is fine, but be a fan first, a smug smarty-pants second.

Comeback season. Jays lost first 2 at home in Alds in 2015, won the next 2 in Texas and then won the series on Bautista homer. Anything is possible it’s baseball.

This team has been extremely resilient and bounced back everytime I will not say its over till the last pitch lol but man Vlad no showing AGAIN is disappointing. 0 hits when hes been up in big spots all series. Yday was particularly atrocious he didnt get the ball in the air one time. That spot with 2 on 2 out in the 3rd when it was 3-3 couldve completely changed the complexion of the game.

Yeah Guerrero only showing up for the Yankees is a problem. We absolutely neee his bat this series and al postseason for that matter. Really missing Bichette a bat to drive in clutch runs.
