The defense needs work. One thing that has been constant from game to game is that the other team stars has been able to get what they want. I love Green grit but Rollins length maybe need more to start the game.

LOL. Actually, no, I think Green is a plus defender but his physical limitations are enhanced playing the 3. It also, hurts that he doesn't have a defensive reputation like a Caruso so he will not get away with being a physical defender. He also lack the supreme defensive IQ that players like Alex and Dort developed over the years. Green will be fine and if not for politics I would start him over Trent maybe.
I feel like youve laid out why hes not a plus defender but then backtracked. Having grit and giving effort are great but its simply not enough at this level if you dont have the athleticism and/or length. I think its fair to say hes not a liability but im not giving him mich beyond that. Claiming the refs are holding him back is some Q level conspiracy talk.
