Michigan made the classic mistake of hiring the interim coach. They got swept up in the emotion of winning the championship and failed to consider that being able to win a few games with Harbaugh's guys is a lot different than building a program of your own. The one thing he has going for him is that he beat Ohio St, he will likely be gone by next year if that trend doesnt continue.

Well all three of the teams I like the most to be in the final four all won yesterday. Ole Miss, Texas Tech and Tennessee. Having a hard time replacing Texas and not sure who to go with at the moment.

I assumed he had eligibility since you suggested the possibility of him coming back, but he may not. He would need an injury exception for this season where he's already played half the season. I don't know if that's possible.

He's the same height and weight as Josh Allen, some team will definitely still take a chance on him. Anthony Richardson was horrible at Florida and still went #4 overall.

hes 6'5 240 with a big arm, hes absolutely getting drafted.

I should be a little more clear in my question. I don’t watch college football. I have no idea if Allar is a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior and I have no clue how many years of eligibility he has (or if he has any).

I’m asking because prior to this season he was projected as the #1 or #2 QB in the upcoming draft. Now with a season ending injury I’m wondering if he even has the ability to go back to school (as far as eligibility) or if his best option (or only option) is to declare for the NFL.

Damn that sucks for him. Might be better for him though if he’s able to get drafted by a good team with a QB already. That way he’d be allowed to heal and learn instead of being thrown to the wolves by a bad team.

Right I get that and honestly wouldn’t mind the Cowboys drafting him. Just no longer in round 1. He’s coming off a major injury that will likely keep him out for rookie year.

With the injury and availability in mind where does Allar get drafted? He’s no longer likely the #1 QB off the board.
