He got handed a decent team.

His first year, it went south...but that's just as much on him .

3/14 from the floor, 1/8 from 3. Most of his scoring has come from the free throw line tonight. He's going to shoot better than this most nights, but I'm just not a huge fan of his game.

Yea, a high volume 3 point guy had a poor shooting night. This is the same **** yall complained about Lowry and FVV to.

I don’t know why “most of his scoring has come from the FT line” is a big deal. Being able to take 8 FTs a night is a great thing, not a bad one.

This board just sucks at evaluating point guard play, especially high volume 3 point guys.
What an absolute failure and disaster this franchise is, ran by one of the most incompetent front offices in the league.

I hope we didn’t offer it. Not in a position to be trading cost controlled rookie guys and a guy like RJ we can reasonable keep so that we can bring in a 30 year old

A 30 year old that's a Top 15-20 player in the league and would be our best player.

The same team that missed the playoffs the year prior, lost arguably its most impactful player, and had its main cogs with one foot out the door, was a “good team”?

He’s fantastic at shooting the 3, protecting the ball, and penetrating the middle for a little floater. Decent playmaker and defender to. Hes shooting like 25% from 3 on high volume so far, so no **** he looks bad lol

Nobody should be worried about whether they're going in, he's an incredible shooter. If he stops taking them, that's when you worry.

He's a good shooter. Not "fantastic" or "incredible".

Derrick White is not a top 20 player in the league lol

If he was, you wouldn’t be even trying to offer RJ+9 as you’d be laughed off the phone

Lol. That was a foul against the Raps earlier. Now it's simply Walter losing the ball.

Raps are bailing the Celtics out now.

We won this game in my books.

Liked what I saw from the starting 5. Rough start but they got better as the game went.

I like the idea of running Scottie with the second unit. He'll get his points there.

He absolutely is if you value the advanced stats. He's closer to top 10 on stuff like EPM.

lol he’s better than good. Ingram is a “good” shooter. Quickley is a tier above that.

Shoots 39% as a raptor, on high volume, and a LOT of that is self creation.

You just don’t like IQ and it’s quite clear.

And here is exhibit a of why you need to watch games.

The best season of his career was a 16/5/5 guy as a 3rd/4th fiddle. Let’s just calm down on the “top 10” player talk

He is absolutely worth giving up atop 10 pick if you are serious about being good. Apparently Celtics laughed at the offer if I remember.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

They had white, before we made the change with our 3 stringers for a bit. And then kept Pritchard/simmons. Ofc they are beat us.

I'm saying it's bad argument to say he didn't have pieces to win. He clearly did.

Laughed? They could have traded for the 9th and traded it to the Pelicans for a likely lotto pick next year and a player in Newell who likely would have fit in there like a glove. Who's laughing now Celtics?!?

Hehe, and they don't need RJ next year on the books. Dollar dollar yo. C.R.E.A.M!
