I have to keep reminding myself that the cap is going to explode but I also have to remind myself that Keegan Murray isn't that good.

Borderline in terms of wanting to play or not.
Yes that's true. He's been contemplating retirement for awhile.
I always felt that he never had a love for the game. Smart guy and smart player, but bball never seemed that important to him. I realize this is arm chair analysis from a long distance away, but isn't that true of most things on this board.

I think he loves the game and hates the culture of the league.

As a Keegan "fan" (I use the term loosely), that's a lotta money man.

Crazy how quickly Sac went from Kings to Kangz again. They had a short but sweet run of being a normal NBA team.

Knicks got **** clobbered by the Wizards last night with him starting; you have to wonder if he was kind of borderline given how late he signed, and getting reamed out over a pre-season game was the Danny Glover moment.
Went to the Box Score to verify if AJ Johnson ended his career but saw Couch’s Decision- Did Not Play. AJ hasn’t played at all in the preseason

Should see if the vice president can put in a word for him.

This and the fact that he's just one of those players whose life isn't solely basketball. I'm sure he loves playing, but he has other interests and goals where he doesn't feel he has to stick around the NBA as long as possible. And that's fine. He devoted the last decade to professional basketball, now it's time to devote his time to something else.

Crazy Brogs didn't stay that one last year to get the 10 year pension or whatever that Snell was trying so hard to get.

He's made $133 million in career earnings and always seemed like a dude that has his head screwed on straight. I think he's pretty secure financially for the rest of his life.

Snell was trying to land lifetime Healthcare for his kids, who are people with autism. That's part of the 10 year pension.

Sounds like they should rekindle their interest in Malik Monk, as part of a 3 way deal, with the Kings landing Kuzma.
Monk for Tobias Harris doesn't work financially, but Monk for Kuzma does. Harris fits the 3/4 reserve role better here than Kuzma. We land the bet player by taking on the larger contract.
