Giannis stays.

And people laughed at me when I invented a hollow massive New York Knicks-themed butt plug.

The O/U at Poto went up to 43.5. Still too low imo.

50-32, we make a big deadline day trade for a starting SF finally. Probably involving Kuz, Bobby and a future first.

The team starts really well out of the gate and surprises everyone. We make it to the conference finals and lose in 6.

Giannis is convinced that the team is a contender again and signs an extension in the offseason.

55 game ceiling + Doc Factor = 48 wins.

I think we'll get to the second round but that's it. There's not enough offensive talent to make a real run in the postseason. Celtics and Pacers being weakened will help us go further than the past 3 seasons but this is the least talented Bucks roster since 2017 or 2018 imo. There isn't anyone on the roster who can be a 2nd or even 3rd banana for a championship team.

That’s what we think now, but I think a lot of guys are going to show massive improvement this year. KPJ, AJG, and GTJ are all poised for breakout seasons. Miles Turner is still improving too. I think this Bucks team has a great chance to have an Indy style playoff run this season and make the finals. The east is weak.

I’ve watched a lot of Bucks teams struggle in previous preseasons and tried to shake off the fact that we look underwhelming. Usually a poor preseason was a warning sign of a team with massive flaws.

This Bucks team looks fantastic this preseason. We’re flying right now. I’m super optimistic. This team is going to be very good.

We have two starters on one year contracts (player option) and one starter up for an extension. A 4th starter felt snubbed by his long time former team. And a 5th starter who has a big ax to grind. Motivation galore.

I don't think this is really true.

Last season: 1-3
2023-24: 3-2 (fired coach mid-season)
2022-23: 0-5 (ended up #1 overall seed)
2021-22 1-4
2020-21: 0-3 (won the title)
2019-20: 5-0 (ended up #1 overall seed)

Could mean something, but historically there's no trend.

Major worry is Giannis health/maintenance. Say all the bad things you want about Dame, but with that roster we could afford to have Giannis out for spells and the team still had an offensive focal point. If Giannis misses a 10-15 game stretch, we could be in a lot of trouble.

I think the team will be good, but we have way less margin for error.

Team is 51-55 without Giannis. The argument could be made that we don't have a "#2" like Khris or Dame now. But I think we'd be ok without him for a few games. Long term of course not but we could tread water for awhile.

Yea I think we need 73+ games from Giannis at 35+mpg to be a lock for the playoffs. If we get the usual <70 games from Giannis we could be ****. Just so little offensive creation outside of him.

50-32 NBA Finals

Trade Kuzma at all costs.

Surprise transaction. We trade for a borderline star at deadline.

54-28, beating out the knicks for the 1 seed on a tiebreaker

Kuzma traded around the deadline for a big wing

AJ Green leads the league in 3pt% (DUH)

KPJ wins MIP, Doc wins CotY (LOL)

Giannis averages 32/12/8 and comes 4th in the MVP race for no explicable reason

Bucks go 38-25 before the aliens arrive, putting the season on hold.

Without Giannis for any extended period you’d really just have to hope for a friendly chunk of the schedule to soften the blow. But I agree with you, Bobby always plays a little extra inspired when he gets to put on the heavy duty work boots and dig in. Could also see a nice well rounded offense with a non Giannis group sharing the ball a little faster than normal without GA dominating it. Perfect for shooters and dirty workers which is what this team is now outside of the big guy anyway.

I have high hopes for KPJ, I think he’s primed for a season where he’ll at least be entertained as a potential all star, maybe even reserve but still. If that happens he’ll be a legit enough #2 that it just brings us back full circle that we can hold the fort down a little bit without Giannis. That’s what I’m anticipating with KPJ and will be disappointed if he doesn’t reach that level and hopefully then some this season.

42-40

a sit-uation show

a bit better, maybe even pushing a 50 game winner...... if giannis is healthy and we have a super amazing start before we get gameplanned for.
worse, maybe by alot.....if its a slow start and he develops "nagging injuries" and sitting alot of games out

this season could have like a 20 win game swing. hard to predict

I see our ceiling as 52 wins and a playoff series win. To exceed that, we’d need KPJr to make a leap, as well as Horst to pull off a heist type move for an impact wing. If he could do that while keeping Bobby, I could see a playoff run to as far as the finals.

I kinda feel we are ready for aliens, just hope they don't think we are wasting too much oxygen.

And it would be the most milwaukee thing ever if they are cruising through the ECF and aliens show up and the post season is delayed for 6 months and the team then shows up with a playoffs bubble like performance.

55-27. The guy who makes the jersey lettering quits when he runs out of O's, N's, and T's because of too many Antetokounmpos.
