Take that Masai says Bobby, I aint holding on to some scrub just cause he is African, i am not keeping some bonafide chucker just cause he is from Brampton....on the real though i would have waited for chomche a little while longer even though he is most likely destined for Europe

Lawson really had no chance of making this team because of the tax situation. Decent chance he will grab the open 2 way spot now.

"Undisclosed" injury followed by getting waived, yeah probably isn't good. Still a chance he stays in the program and will sign with the G League team.

waiving chomche from a 2way is absolutely stupid and unjustifiable. Even f he was injured, let him rehab, it's a damn 2way contract, Bobbys 1st move as a GM and he whiffed.

Chomche doesn't even turn 20 for another month and a half. He has a lot of potential to be a decent centre. I hope his injury isn't anything career-ending.

Wow, all this talk about Chomche and he gets cut just like that. He actually did improve a ton year to year so im surprised at this. This team has 0 C depth and if one of Poeltl/Mamu get hurt, we are reliving the past several years :(

Also, AJ Lawson was better than Dick/Walter/Battle last year so let's hope those guys are clearly better than him this year.

Chomche cut and MU firing..

Everything is just starting to sour me on the general outlook of this team...

Liked what i seen in summer league games with him....Most likely he has a injury that we are not aware of....But if thats not the case than that just shows how hard it is to make an NBA team....As much as we all liked him he prolly won't play much in the NBA and thats just the reality of how good you gotta be....Not many 2nd rounders/undrafted guys stick around long.

I had high hopes for Chomche...and ya he isn't even 20 yet and I thought he played well in SL.

I liked Chomche in theory, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves. He was very meh, in the g league.
What an absolute failure and disaster this franchise is, ran by one of the most incompetent front offices in the league.

Are these just procedural moves and they remain with the 905?

Showed growth as the season went on and also impressed in the summer league. And let's not forget... HE'S ONLY 19.

Chomche may be surprising but the guy seems to be injury prone so far in his young career. He has missed all of pre-season, so the chance of him playing with tje big club is slim to none. Maybe he stays with the 905 (where he was probably going to end up anyway for most of the season). I hope we use this new opening to pick a suitable back up C who can play some minutes.

Yah, we don't have enough information to say this is 'unjustifiable' at this point. I'll be shocked if we don't learn about a more serious underlying medical condition in the next couple of days.

Hopefully it's something he can recover from and not a career-ender

They were tight lipped about Koloko too. Might be similar issue (potential career ending injury).
