Joey is just a dystopian nightmare at the plate. That's the one area where you can really fault management. They didn't have any other obvious needs, but he was a Wiemer-level mess all summer and they did nothing to try to upgrade there despite having the best record in MLB (I think?) at the deadline.

Looked away for three minutes and now we're tied. Dope.

Joey has a great glove but you have to upgrade that position.

Rolling Ashby out again and again is absolutely insane. The dude is not good as a starter so what does Murph do. Rolls him out as a starter every game. Brain dead stuff. Shoulda just started miz.

That was 7 out of the last 8 batters from both teams striking out before that walk

They're taking a lot of pitches and apparently dealing with a ton of shadows, which is affecting both team's hitters. Looks bad, but there are lots of signs of progress from the first two games.

We’d be quite screwed pitching wise if the rookie didn’t step up out of nowhere like he has.

Miz has been our best pitcher. And Chourio our best hitter…

It's funny to me how hitters always seem to look back at the pitcher after being struck out like, "How'd he do that?", and how the pitchers never seem to pay them any mind.
