Let’s go Bo!

The question is can he run the full bases and make all the turns, running straight line is always fine with ligaments, pivoting is the issue.

Loperfido is trash anyway

We're cooked as it is, but there's no reason IKF should be starting this game

Santander… horrible signing. Missed out on Alonso who’s gonna leave the Mets anyway. What an idiot.

I know some people felt he was having some good at bats and looking like he was making progress but I didn't see it.

He's a below average defender that doesn't run especially well and besides one hit (even a broken clock is right twice a day) hadn't done many encouraging things in his 20ish plate appearances.

I'm not writing him off going forward as he is still relatively young for a player of his skill set but this season is a write off. Take a full off season to get healthy and for the team to figure out how he can most help next year when there will surely be some roster changes.

The only value Santander brings is power. He doesn’t hit for average, he strikes out a lot. If he’s not hitting homers he’s useless. He’s like a Eugenio Suarez outfield version.

I'm not sure if Alonso really wanted to be here, and we were a leverage play. Seemed like he really wanted to make one more go with the Mets and they made it work in the end. And it didn't go well.

I liked Santander's recent at-bats. Felt like he was close to going on a good stretch. Horrible season for him. Hopefully next season is better.

IKF starting a do or die game is not ideal.

I agree with you on IKF but we're not necessarily cooked and loperfido was not trash in 100 mlb at bats.

We weren't cooked last night even though it looked that way early. Baseball is unpredictable even if the only predictable thing is how weird this org is at their roster decisions.

It was always a terrible signing. Santander is one of the most overrated players in MLB, and I wished at that time they went in a different direction. The Jays were the only team to guarantee more than 3 years to him, as they bumped their offer to 5 years in the end to have him commit.

They were so desperate to add a Home Run bat after Alonso spurned then, that they foolishly gave Santander what he wanted. He is a poor defender, very slow, strikes out a lot and cannot hit for average. To give this guy a 5 year guaranteed contract for 92.5 million was always a joke. Sucks we now have to insert IKF in this critical game.

The Scherzer full court press is more than a little bit embarrassing. Like go show out and shut up when you win. Let’s act like he’s done this before. What is this? Is Rogers helping him campaign for one more one-year contract? “Scherzer is stoked for postseason baseball!!”

The first inning will tell us everything.

As long as the command is there, I expect Max to give us at least 4 quality innings. That's all we need from him. Then get Lauer in there for a couple innings.

Brewers can’t score any runs against the dodgers.

I hate how high Max keeps his glove for everyone to see his fingers on the ball

I watch a lot of Dodgers baseball and this is the best they've looked all season DESPITE Ohtani's struggles.
Mainly because their starting rotation looks invincible right now.

If Ohtani comes alive, it'll be an easy repeat.

Guerrero late on a 94 fastball? I don’t like it
