What I love about Matas is how much you can see how he wants to be the guy. He has that mindset. Players with that mindset typically get the maximum out of their potential.

Would be nice to make some shots outside of 5 feet.

I'm not sure I've ever seen him phased by anything. He has the right amount of arrogance to be a star in the league for sure.

Pat is the complete opposite. This mindset & attitude is proof that it should be taken into more consideration when drafting players in the first round.

I really wish we could have landed Terrence Shannon Jr. in last year's draft. Not at the expense of Buzelis of course. But TSJ has always looked like a pro, and with more minutes this season, he is going to have some nice moments.

Still trying to figure out why Carter is playing so much in preseason. I get it he wont in the regular season but we learn or gain nothing when he is on the floor. Its just get the ball, shoot the ball. Lke every time lol

I'm trying to think of some examples of players who had that mindset but failed and I'm blanking. I'm sure there's some.

Vuc just doesn’t fit this team anymore. Young players that want to run and gun.

Maybe we're trying to showcase him for a trade.

small sample size and the games don't count but vucevic is genuinely playing at a "should not be on a roster" level in preseason

Another lazy Vuc play leads to another possession for Minnesota

There are times when Noa looks like Pippen to me. Like, not in game, but their faces.

Spot on. With the way the team is built around Giddey being the PG, we need a guard to chuck 3's on the wing to allow for spacing.

Giddey looks like he's picked up right where he's left off.

I'd be shocked if he didn't average 20/7/7 this year. The question mark will be whether he can sustain the 38% 3 point shooting.
