The game was on the line in that spot and Wilson knew it

There is no situation Davis could hit in this game that will be bigger than that moment and he probably won’t get in the game at all now

Who play 3B after that pinch hitting?

Lukes is better defensively in RF, and DSchneider in LF is probably no better or worse than Barger is in RF. That was the move to make. Could have blown the game open. Now you have to hope Max and the pitching staff can hold a 2 run lead (for now).

To walk the 9th batter there is a fiasco

Barger is in RF right now

It was an obvious game move that Schneider completely whiffed on, that inning could very well have been the game

I think this move makes more sense with 1 out and banking Davis can at least get a ball airborne

It makes sense with 2 outs too because Barger against an elite LHP is basically conceding a bases loaded AB to Seattle

Wilson went with his best lefty in the 3rd

Why aren’t we pinch hitting Davis there in response

lol probably because it's the 3rd inning as you said

A big hit could’ve put the gate away there. Like the Varsho double yesterday
