I’m glad that guy isn’t a part of the broadcasts anymore. He’s so uncomfortable.

Arash was definitely a grade A weirdo.

I miss Barry Davis though...sometimes.

I would still start Trey in Game 6. Just have Bassitt work out of the bullpen if necessary (meaning Trey struggles again like in Game 2).

If you told me last year we would sign 40 year old Max Scherzer in the offseason and he'd win an ALCS game for us, I would have laughed at the absurdity. But going into the postseason, I still had a feeling the old man still had something in him for the playoffs and I'm glad he got a chance to show it.

As a former athlete I love seeing guys counted out come through like Scherzer. I've been there myself and all you want in these situations is a chance to prove that you can do it and there's no better feeling than shutting people up like he did.

Not me. I thought it was a stunt signing to excite the fans, like Votto the year before. Although we actually paid Max, so ... I guess this was the plan all along.

Oh, it definitely was a stunt signing at first. The idea of him starting and winning an ALCS game, now that would have been absurd to think about to start the season

And to think, if he kept this up for 162 games, he'd be Barry Bonds.

A Vladdy who's just OK in the regular season and a monster in the playoffs isn't a bad trade off though, considering that for a lot of superstars the trend is the reverse. Provided the team can get him to the playoffs often enough, if course.

Of course, there's also yet another version of Vladdy: Wildcard Vladdy, which is just awful.

Best infielder in the sport and is a capable hitter. Only 27y/o.

As crazy as it seems Bo's injury was a blessing in disguise. Our infield is ridiculously good and now with Santander out our outfield is matching our infield. Somehow we don't miss their production at all. The perfect scenario would be beating the Mariners and Bo coming back as a DH in the WS.

Bo at DH means Springer in right or left field

I'm just learning he was let go last spring by Sportsnet. Funny how you don't someone missing, then it's like oh yeah what happened to that guy.

I don't really miss him either but he was good covering the Team Canada FIBA run to bronze, two summers ago. Credit to him for that.
