If we win tonight, I highly doubt we lose back to back games at home.

It would be back to back to back to back games at home..go for reverse sweep

If I see IKF or Loperfido in that lineup, you need to fire them pre-game.

Idk why anyone would want Joey in the game the Jays know his 844 OPS is fraudulent lol also hes made a lot of mental errors on defense and I cant imagine his first game being the biggest game this franchise has had in 30 years.

That's because they stupidly released a lineup with IKF and not Davis in it.

Davis is a vastly superior player to Loperfido in every respect, but it sure looks like we're just gonna start IKF for the remainder of the postseason like some kind of fraud contender.

Just gotta hope we keep going full 2015 Royals at this point and that IKF can be their Alcides.

I was worried they would get fooled by IKFs game yday. 2/3 (I guess 2 bunts technically but Barger was asleep at the wheel for one). But he had 2 hits on like a .220 xBA on both of them lol I honeslty question whether hes a better defender than Davis at 2nd base also.

Apparently IKF is more successful hitting high fastballs compared to Davis, and that's primarily what Miller throws.

Ernie Clement has a 198 WRC+ and Andres Gimenez has a 153 WRC+ this playoffs. Crazy stuff from them needed them to get hot to make up for not having Bo, this is how you win the in playoffs without an all-star.

Looking at Savant its a little complicated? I assume they think Miller is gonna do 50-60+% 4 steamers tonight. Davis was better than IKF this year by run value against 4 seam. But idk if the 2 (or 3?) position player HRs he hit were classified as 4 seams so that could skew the data. Last year Davis had a -8 run value vs 4 seamers (+4 this year). IKF has been +1 vs 4 seamers in 2024 and 2025. IKF also whiffs a lot less I guess they just want as many BBE's as possible against Miller tn. I still disagree with this in general tho.

Yea personally I'd have still started Davis, but it's hard to argue against starting the hot hand. IKF and Gimenez were a huge reason we won the game yesterday.

Ernie is literally like our version of prime Ben Zobrist. Super flexible defender who can play anywhere and is solid with the bat and comes up clutch and makes contact. I hope he wins the utility gold glove.

Would love to see another offensive outburst to get Gausman an early lead and I like our chances against Miller a second time.

Bieber for potential game 7 then. Not bad. Looks like Bassitt likely won't be pitching this series unless one of the starters totally implodes.
