Not really. It’s the right decision.

He was lucky to make it out that last inning jam. Fluky DP.

Nothing lucky about the great pitches he made to Varsho or Clement

Varsho had a poor AB and chased

Ernie had a 1/100 bounce or lack thereof

iKF can get the extra base hit tonight, but can’t do the things he was expected to do — play smartly, good D, lay down a bunt.

Varsho had a good AB and chased a very good pitch after a long battle

Ernie chased a ball first pitch and paid the price, terrible AB

Bunting through a slider and pulling back too late is more about IKF being bad than Brash being good

Shake up all of our plate appearances and pull them out of a hat, and we would have about 5 runs by now. We’ve just been unlucky in the order. Finally!

Well IKF is bad, I’ve always maintained that

Varsho had arguably the worst AB of the night.

Clement making contact with a wicked splitter doesn’t constitute a bad ab. Varsho struck out on a splitter that he had no business swinging at.
