Why do we keep intentionally walking the #9 hitter this series? Anyone?

Tip your cap

Or don't swing at the slider that was a ball.

Or foul off the inside FB

If the best hitter in baseball right now on a heater can’t hit Matt Brash, I would consider that it might be because Matt Brash is a ridiculously good pitcher

Might just be me though

Seeing Wild Man Little warm up is not the best thing right now.

This is the type of stuff that loses you the game. Walking someone in an inning when you know you're going to face Raleigh.

Springer hit him just fine. And hes nowhere near as hot as Vlad. Vlad just choked. Love what he's done this postseason but that was a horrific at bat.

Don’t worry. He makes up for his lack of control with his lack of pure stuff.

Yea Vlad messed up swinging at that 3-1 slider. He should've been sitting fastball all the way. I think he got too eager. You could even see Springer telling him to calm down. The inside fastball was too close to take though. It was a good pitch.

5 hits, 3 walks and we only have one run. Terrible luck.
