It’s not necessarily the numbers but the process. Great D. Making the right plays on O. Utilizing his strengths.

Its not about the points, its about the how. He doesnt settle for 3s, he plays like he actually cares, doesnt complain or pout, is aggressive. The stats are just a result of it.

Barnes using his strength would be a big boost long term. He’s stronger than almost anyone guarding him. Even if he can’t blow by his defender he can almost assuredly bully ball them out of the way.

I mean, this is part of the frustration. The guy can bully ball almost anyone. Even as a rookie he could move centers off their spot. He just doesn’t use it enough.
