Dodgers spent 230 million more on payroll this year than the Brewers (lol). Credit to the Brewers for the year they had on a bottom tier payroll. Ohtani is still this generation's Babe Ruth. What an unreal player.

There's definitely a lockout coming. The gap between the rich and poor is only widening. Might be time to finally implement a salary cap. The Dodgers have completely broken the system too. They're basically getting every superstar from Japan on bargain prices. Got Ohtani on a heavily deferred contract. It's just not even close how much better they are than other teams. They had 93 wins this season despite most their rotation not even healthy.

Growing up baseball has always been the sport that was my first love. My brother and I would go to all the games. Opening day was like a national holiday and we were so excited to wait in line to grab tickets. We were there for the back to back championships, great great memories.

After getting older and getting smarter about the game, the thing that pushed me away from baseball was the fact there wasn't a salary cap. I was so tired of the Yankees and Red Sox or any other big market team going to the world series every year.

How is it possible that a big market team can just buy their way into a championship every year and the league and fans are ok with this?

I'm disheartened that it's still happening in 2025 and it appears to have gotten worse. How is there no salary cap by now? This is complete garbage.
