2025-26 NBA G League Season Dates

October 25: 2025 NBA G League Draft (1 p.m. ET)
October 27 - November 6: NBA G League Training Camps
November 1: NBA Mexico City Game 2025
November 6: Rosters set for NBA G League Opening Day (5 p.m. ET)
November 7: NBA G League Tip-Off Tournament begins

G League eligible Players will go right to the G League Training Camp, after the NBA Training Camp.

Maine Celtics begin training camp on October 27th. Starting on November 7th, Maine will play its first three games on the road before returning the Portland Expo for the Celtics' home opener on November 14th against the Long Island Nets.

The Maine Celtics acquired forward Stefan Todorovic in a trade and made two second-round picks in the NBA G League draft on Saturday. Maine sent a 2027 first-round pick to Motor City in the deal for Todorovic, a native of Belgrade, Serbia. Motor City selected Todorovic with the seventh overall pick.

Supposed to shoot 35% from 3, and 84% on FT's. -- He went Undrafted in the 2025 NBA.
This is why we need more Rounds to the Draft. We should be Drafting 5 x Two-Way Players.

It's Preseason in the G League.
They have to cut their Rosters down by Nov. 6.

Roster breakdown

* G League roster: A G League team has a minimum of 10 players.
* Active roster: The active roster can expand to a maximum of 13 players if the NBA parent club assigns players.
* Two-way contracts: In addition to the 13-player roster, each NBA team can have up to three players on two-way contracts, who split time between the NBA and the G League.
* Affiliate players: An NBA team can designate up to four players as affiliate players. These players are automatically allocated to the G League affiliate if they sign a G League contract.

G League Rosters must be cut down to 10 G League Players, by 5PM, Nov. 6, 2025.
Maine has to cut 5 Players from their Training Camp Roster. Plus, they can keep the Two-Ways, on top of the 10.

Also, looks like Maine currently has about 6-7 Affiliate Players, on it's Preseason Roster.
Though, the number of Affiliate Players for the Regular Season is now 5, according to the new NBA G League/NGBPU CBA.
