Don't know, but Dinwiddie should start if we were to get him; with Green coming back soon enough, we know that's not happening.

Dinwiddie and Delon Wright are done. We will not sign any old bench player who are basically out of the league.

So if I'm correct,

Jalen Green ruled out for season opener

Mark Williams, questionable

And carrying an open roster spot. Why do that unless we already have our eye on someone we know is gonna shake loose from another team or plan on promoting one of our two way contracts?

Precious just for waived.

Wondering if we're targeting him with the open roster spot. Would love him on this Suns roster. Doesn't space the floor but he's a good defensive 4 with a big wingspan.

Jalen Green starting his career for the Suns like Beal lol. Williams' health just as advertised.

Using the open spot for a backcourt player makes more sense to me.

 Remember the hype of KD's debut was spoiled by him seriously rolling his ankle in warmups??

I believe he's still recovering from the traumatic head injury he suffered when playing for the Pacers before being released. He is better defensively, but Dinwiddie is much better offensively.

Either would offer better insurance at the guard position in case Booker or Green misses any time with injuries. There's also Westbrook......lol. :D

I would be inclined to believe it would for one of the two-way contracts. This team does not need another vet benchwarmer. Our team may look young but most of the players are 25+, there are 9 players 25 and above and 8 players below 25. Last thing we need is a older player taking minutes away from any of our young guys.

No reason to use the 14th spot right now. We need to remember, this isn't a season where we expect to compete. Hold the open spot so we can have more flexibility in trades during the year.

Also, if the HORNETS are waiving Dinwiddie, who had a guaranteed deal if I'm not mistaken, there's no reason to want to go after him.

So they actually signed him? When did that finally get done man? Last I heard, China had a big contract offer for him. But nothing yet from the Kings in the way of a commitment. :dontknow:

Feels like a few days ago. Apparently he was looking at around $15m in China but the guy has made $350m in his career (not including sponsorship), I don't think he needs to go to China for a pay day. He seems like he'd rather retire than play overseas, which he's earned imo

I legit misread this as "did you ask for a potato", which would have been odd but also a boss move to pull at a steak house.

Walk up to Mark Williams' table, ask: "you gonna eat that"?, then snatch the potato from his plate, bite into it like it’s an apple, and then just casually walk off.
