Game 1: Miami @ Orlando 10/22 7 PM EST

Post#1 » by DayofMourning » Sat Oct 18, 2025 4:02 pm

Its been a long time coming, but we are finally here.

What better way to start the year than a road win vs our in state rivals?

We have a lot of moving pieces who will try to carve out a role and establish themselves.

No Herro? Oh well. Lets see what our youth can do. Give me all the Jaquez, Jovic, Ware and Kaspar I can handle.

And if it doesnt work out, give me a good pick.

Go Heat!

Finally a game thread!
Let's hope for a better season than the last.

There are only 2 favorites in the east.
Cleveland (clear favorite) and Knicks.
The other teams will compete with each other.

Orlando is one of the good teams in the east and will compete for the 3d seed.
Can Miami compete for the 3d-4th seed too?
Let's see

It is almost the same team with the previous year with the addition of Powel.
I also expect Ware to contribute more this season.

So, why to not be better than the previous year?

Team is a lotto team with no Jimmy, plain n simple

It’s a low iq roster, with mid to poor ball handlers, and are terrible at executing in late game situations

Hope we have Niko and Kas back for this one. Herro likely out a while longer.

Why did the league make us play Orlando twice in the preseason and then make them our first opponent in regular season? I’m already tired of playing them and it’s only game one.
For a long time it gave me nightmares, witnessing an injustice like that. It’s a constant reminder of just how unfair this world can be.I can still hear them taunting him, Silly Rabbit tricks are for kids.I mean why couldn’t they just give him some cereal?

Not gonna be an easy game. I won’t be concerned if they lose and I won’t be hopeful if they lose. I will be looking at the effort. That will set the tone for the season. This team is going to have to try their best just to make the team respectable. Best comparison is the Heat team the year before the Big 3 was assembled. That team was willed to the 5 seed.

I did a freudian slip here and said I won’t be hopeful if they lose but meant to say win. But I think they are gonna lose so I won’t edit the post. GG OP.

we are underdogs but like i said in the gamethread i believe we will be competitive. Ware and Jovic will hopefully give us the points we wanted from Bam while he anchors elite defense and gets his like usual. i just hope turd quarters are a thing of the past with a faster pace offense and no one sitting around waiting to see if jimmy wants to be a scorer today
