There's "some chance" Sydney Sweeney comes waltzing into my bedroom tonight, but I'm not counting on it.

I'm hoping Bob Myers is the middle man between Harris and the various team execs. Could have used somebody like that to help guide Harris when Hinke was putting himself in hot water and during the Colangelo situation.Jailblazers7 wrote:Bob Myers just got hired by HBSE to be president of their sports group. I wonder if that has any ramifications for the Sixers since basketball is obviously his area of expertise.

He drafted Draymond and I wouldn't say kuminga at 7 is a bad choice at all. But I can't say I'm overall impressed by his drafting for sure. Doesn't hurt to have another successful mind in such a important position

Yes. I throw on a jersey for grocery store runs on gamedays. Underrated way to start conversations with strangers

No, adults are only supposed to wear moisture wicking hiker pants, orthopedic shoes, and an earthy cardigan sweater.

Embiid no back-to-backs. Finally figured it out!

My prefered starting 5 for this season:
Maxey - VJ - PG13 - Bona - Embiid
A bit low in shooting off course, but a lot of high level athletes and speed around PG and Embiid, enough scoring and playmaking (PG13 can help).
And than you can let McCain and Grimes come off the bench to shoot the second unit off the other team apart.

There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

Probably just layering the decision process, that way, if we make an unpopular move, there are fall guys to take the heat and nothing traces back to Morey.

It’s gonna feel miraculous if we start the season with a healthy PG & Embiid in the starting lineup. My optimism for this season is getting uncomfortably high.

Relax, all is normal.

In that article, they talk about him getting ready for five-on-five. What's the logic with this? How is 5-on-5 any more risky (injury-wise) than 3-on-3? You're moving on a basketball court either way.

I think in 2-on-2 or 3-on-3 games, they play at a lower intensity and less seriously, like a kind of warm-up.
In 5-on-5, they're trying to simulate a real game. Plus, it's a more complex and unpredictable basketball game, with more variations.

Given our backcourt depth, I wonder if we’ll use the full-court press more often, especially when Embiid is off the floor.

It’s because of exposure to international basketball.

That's an article from nearly a week ago. Since then George has progressed to full participant, including 5-on-5's. It doesn't feel like he's two weeks away to be honest. Conditioning will need some work obviously, but perhaps he can start with some 20 MPG and gradually increase that number to the 32 MPG range to keep him fit for the majority of the season.
