Kinda thinking the Packers are just an average team that can occasionally look really good but also really bad

Can't fire MLF, guys. He's a really good offensive coach.

Good job Cooper

Would rather have 2nd and 12 than 1st and 20.

Sometimes the play calls are solid but they're not executed.

And sometimes the play calls are just bad.

There is a difference.

With MLF a lot of his play calls are just bad. He calls plays that make no sense for the situation or for the personnel.

Again, hindsight. Unless you've studied the all 22 tape of all of the AZ defensive plays and did all of the analytics with down/distance and the field position associated with them, as the team does, you really don't know what the right play calls are, other than "didn't work, bad call" analysis.

I mean, I get it's frustrating when plays don't work. I get frustrated too. And there are times Love should audible and doesn't. Or he does but shouldn't. But I still think MLF knows more about calling plays than I do ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

You don't have to be a mathematician to know that 2+2=4.

Just because MLF is an NFL head coach doesn't mean that he is above any criticism.

And I don't think I know more than MLF, and I don't think he's the worst coach in the league. But I know there are football minds out there who could do a better job with this offense than he's currently doing.

Being an NFL head coach coach is a "It's not what you know, it's who you know." Gig if there ever was one.

If Quay were better in coverage he'd be a good overall player

And one of the two turnovers the Packers had cost them yards them because it was 4th down. Never seen a year with so few turnovers.

!!!!!!!! That looked like a monstrous push from Quay - I'm sure Parsons helped, but looked like Q pulled down Brissett along with a lineman.
You gotta make it sexy! Hips and nips, otherwise I'm not eating.

The team just feels like they're handcuffing themselves. It's hard to watch. The sum of the parts should be much better than the product we're getting.

Pedestrian.

At some point the sheer accumulation of dumb stuff we do has to fall on MLF and the coaching staff

Theoretically, we have a good d that should thrive in pass rush situations. I'd love to see a game we come out in a race to get ahead 10 points (and then keep the foot on the gas).

To the poster who said this would be a good game to rake leaves - Q1 absolutely was a leaf raking quarter. Woof.

The Reporting as Eligible podcast talk about this every week. The offensive pace is just way too slow.

It magnifies any mistakes they make because they are limiting the amount of possessions they can have. Its doubly bad that the opponent takes forever on these drives bc they just dink and dunk all day. Like were likely going to get 3 possessions at most this half.

That is the game LaFleur wants to play for better or worse.

Its not bad if you want to stay in games against better teams but it also lets bad teams hang around
