It's tough to fire a coach when the team is winning and consistently one of the best teams in the league. For sure there are problems, but there aren't really any obviously better alternatives available, especially when you consider any coach you hire probably comes along with their own downsides you won't find out about until after you hire them. In basketball terms, if we fire MLF we are a lot more likely to get doc rivers as the replacement than someone objectively better.

It is hilarious and terrifying to imagine Doc Rivers coaching your NFL team.

2 issues with this team:

1) The OL is soft, they can't move people around in the run game which messes up all of MLF offense, without the run game this offensive scheme sucks.
2) Too much zone defense. Teams have figured out the holes in this defense and if the pressure is not getting to the QB theres open receivers all over.

Game looks totally different if Love makes them pay with the long ball.

It's kind of the same story every year with this team. Overall wenare a good team, but sloppy execution and lack of attention to detail costs us repeatedly and usually ends up killing us in the playoffs.

Right, and when the same thing keeps happening over and over again when does MLF start seeing some legit criticism? The young team excuse does not carry much weight with me.

I totally get what you're saying and I've said myself that I don't think MLF is the worst coach in the league. You could do worse than MLF.

But at this point you could start making the case that MLF is Doc Rivers.

We're not even 6 full games into the season.

And it's hard to even believe that people (Myself included) thought that this team was a serious Superbowl contender.

The defense has been good but this offense is putrid.
