Any news on Darko's contract situation?

I know a 3 year contract is pretty standard. What's the remaining term on his current contract? Has there been any talk of extension?

He signed a 3+1 contract, raptors already picked up his option, so he is signed through 26-27

My guess hes gone after this year. I dont think hes fit for the role of an nba coach, but hope im wrong

I don’t feel like Darko has done anything to make me think he’s the long term coach of the Raptors.

I'd keep him around for another contract and fire him half way through when we need more of a playoff coach. He can develop our guys a little more, he's been good in that regard.

He's at best a assistant coach. Not even a leading assistant coach.

I think he finishes out the season but then the team goes in a different direction.

he's not an nba head coach.

Darko was supposed to be a development coach but out front office didn’t give him any high end picks to develop.

He seems like a great assistant coach to have on the staff but has shown nothing to me to bring an actual head coach.

Personally, I think there's a chance he gets fired during the season but for sure gets canned in the offseason.

Samson folk said the Pacers stole/used several plays from Darkos offense on route to the finals last year

We will see how this season goes but Darko seems very good at development.

He is already under contract for two seasons.

His fate will depend on this season but so far I think he is done tremendous job. Especially culture wise.

I think he stays long term but like I said this league is what have you done lately and with higher expectations this season, we will see how things goes.
