I generally think moving guys up and down the lineup a spot or two isn't that important. Like to make sure there are no lefties back to back.

That being said I would have two high average hitters after Vlad, so Kirk and Clement at #4 and #5. If you walk Vlad, a hit could then could bring him in. Varsho has had some clutch pop from time to time, and I think he is fine at #6.

That being said its not that relevant. Having the best starters in there is more important. Which brings us to IKF which I wouldn't star...that being said he has had 2 doubles in 2 games - so so far he has been delivering offensively. Let's hope he outperforms expectations one more game.

What does concern me with IKF from last game was that he did all of the following:
- Was shaky on a groundball that cost us an out
- Couldn't lay down a bunt
- Made a baseunning boner.

He has to at least execute those fundamentals

Bassitt doesn’t deserve any fire.

I would have went with Shane Bieber for game 6. I think he would handle the pressure better than the rookie. Yesavage fell apart not getting a strike call on leadoff hitter and crumbled

Hopefully the time is now. Varsho has been a disaster at the plate aside from one hard hit double and a couple of fly balls since the first two games against the Yankees. 2 for his last 26 with 9 of those outs being strikeouts, generally coming with men on base. Need a lot more from the guys hitting directly behind Vladdy or Seattle is just going to continue intentionally putting him on.

That’s what Varsho has always been. A **** hitter with terrible inability to get on base. No matter how much Randle hypes him up, Varsho always has good stretches followed by **** one’s.

Why is Falafel starting? What has David done to deserve the bench?

I wouldn't say he crumbled. He made one bad pitch to Rodriguez then retired 12 of the next 15 batters before he was pulled after giving up a leadoff single followed by an intentional walk before Varland gave up a 3-run HR. Yesavage in G6 makes perfect sense and it sets Bieber up to pitch a potential G7 tomorrow.
