Matter of fact among teams that wont at least 57 games between 2021-22 / 2024-25 Cavs are so far only team that didn't win a title, each and every other team won in 2 years window, so they still might.

19-13.

Among 32 best regular seasons in history, 19 teams won title in same season.

True, best regular season team usually wins in the NBA.

That being said the East probably isn't super strong so you could possibly see a scenario where the top 3 all win like 55+ games if the Magic are actually good. (And would not be surprised if any of those teams lost in the finals to a team in the west with fewer wins.)

So with Suggs still on the injured list. I am going to predict the following.

Starting 5
Paulo, Franz, WCJ, Bane, Tyus.
First off bench.
Anthony Black.

If healthy they should win 48 games minimum. Franz, Bane + the defence should be enough floor raisers for that in the east. Question is if Paolo finally becomes a efficient scorer to make us dangerous.
They have to win a playoff round for sure but in the semis i would call us a underdog vs Knicks (if Robinson is healthy) & Cavs today, because i think their Bigs gonna dominate ours in big man things by a wide margin. Robinson won the Knicks so many Playoff games already & Allen & Mobley dominated us before and Mobley is much better now.
If Embiid is somehow healthy in the Playoffs you have to add Philly too to the teams that could be better than us in a series.
