I would have stuck with Yesavage.

Varland is not a different guy and HR prone and Suarez was dangerous last game

Varland is always good for at least one HR against. Feeling like this is gonna end up a 1 run game by the 8th-9th.

Of course it’s a great start. He gave up a lot of baserunners, but he made a lot of great pitches to get out of jams while giving up just one run (assuming the bullpen doesn’t come in and **** the bed) and striking out 7.

The pitchers here have to be perfect to see the 7th or god forbid 8th inning.
