ANNOUNCEMENT

Congratulations to the ten teams still alive in the Bubble tournament. Biggest question remaining is will the Atlantic Division get all teams into the Final Four? They are an impressive 8-0 through the first round and a half with an average margin of victory of nearly 22 points. Can New York and Toronto join, Boston, Philadelphia and Brooklyn in the Elite 8? Will Golden State avenge last years Bubble Tourney loss in the Finals? Will San Antonio add their first ever Bubble Tournament Championship to their four Larry O'Brien trophies? Will Denver get over the hump after years of solid performances? Will an upstart like Atlanta or Minnesota spoil the day for the perceived favorites? The final two quarterfinal matchups will be this weekend.

Also, we are now about one month away from BaF season 9 opening night and it's time for our annual preseason power rankings and GM survey. For the preseason power rankings, teams need to submit their rankings, 1-29 (do not rate your own team). If you would like to put in a few words of insight into why you feel a certain way about a team, please do so. This does not have to be a lot of writing but it is always interesting to see how other GMs view teams that aren't their own. Only teams that submit their power rankings will be shown in the rankings. Last year, only 16 GMs took the time to submit a ranking so hopefully we can get a better turnout this year. Power rankings are due by Friday, 11/14 so GMs have nearly a month to get these done. There are still some transactions in my inbox waiting to be posted which may move the needle so feel free to wait to submit rankings until the dust settles.

11/14 will also be the due date for our GM survey. Questions are in the spoiler below. Last year, only 14 GMs took the time to submit answers to these 20 questions. No explanations are needed for these, just need a response.

Please label your PMs with "GM Survey" or "Power Rankings" when you submit them. If you have any questions about either the survey or power rankings, let me know.
