He couldn't hit 94 for the longest stretch towards the end of the season. Got quite concerning.
The rest has benefited him a ton.

95 is still not ideal… needs to hit 97 at least

He got to 96-97 in his last outing, if I remember correctly?

His velo is fine and there's late life on the 4 seamer right now which is way more important anyways

Great job Hoff!
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

Schneider or Clement

Would that have been much drop-off from IKF at second? I can't think why else they didn't pinch hit there

Because John Schneider trusted IKF at the plate over Davis all game long. Nothing changed. We could’ve had Davis‘s bat in there all game long.

Do you go with Hoffman for another inning - he is at 15 pitches.
Or do you keep some fresh bullets for tomorrow?

I'm inclined to go with Dominquez against the middle- bottom of that lineup.
If we get another run its an easy decision for me.

Hoffman depsite his troubling outings and flyball/HR concerns does get a lot of chase and this Ms team plays a more extreme version of Yankee ball. Its risky but not a bad matchup for him

Big at bat here.

Little should only pitch in Blowouts. He should be our new Chad Green.

Another 3 up 3 down. He’s back to Hoffman for now.

keep him fresh for tomorrow night either way, the multi inning outings have gone really poorly for him this season

I’d take Hoffman out so he’s still available tomorrow.
