Impressed with how well the defense did overall after losing Warner. Falcons were coming off a huge offensive game

Defense picked up in the second half, other than the TD drive. In the first half Penix had some chances to wind up and throw some dimes while their WRs were making double and even triple moves.

Running game got going finally and it wasn’t just because Kittle came back. Maybe an edge in them having to cross the country on a short week because their defense had been playing very well. A couple of pitches got blown up because they had Jennings try to block DEs on the edge.

They showed a photo of Jones in college. He had a big paunch! No wonder why they said he didn’t look like a pro athlete, though he put up good numbers at a top program. Of course he was throwing to absolute elite WRs who were winning their matchups easily.
