They were calling him the reason we were down 0-2 in this series... the reason!

Last time I was at a game 7, Lowry was blocked.

Let's hope for better luck!

As I've said before, when it comes to Vladdy, unfortunately the praise is never as loud as the slander.

Yeah I owned Kirby in fantasy. He had an oddly rough year. Still very capable of throwing a complete gem so I ain't comfortable yet.

I mean, one of the benefits here though is that, unlike after the DS, there's three full days off between the LCS and WS. So plenty of time to reset things even if you do need to dig deep.

with Kirby, you generally know early on what kind of game he's going to have. He tends to give up crooked numbers early and often when he's not on. If he's painting the corners, you're in trouble and he can go 7 innings with 3 hits and no walks.

The Mariners will pull Kirby in the first couple of innings if he shows any signs of struggling. The Jays likely do the same with Bieber although they'll be a bit more reluctant to do so.

Given our bullpen weakness, I think it's far more important for Bieber to have a good start than vice versa. Although I imagine Gausman is gonna be in play for potentially multiple innings tonight in any scenario.

Remember when AA left and everyone was acting like we let some generational genius get away and would never win again. This team has gotten farther than any AA-led team already. Best season in 30+ years and we've done it not with a team stacked full of talent, but a solid core and team ball strategy. Easily the one most fun season I've had in a long while.

Who's to say AA wouldn't have gotten us here sooner. It's been 10 long years of mediocre and disappointing before this miracle run

Yeah give AA 8 years to build and 255M payroll at the end of it, we would have had many more ALCS appearances.

Not to mention, this reason we are here today is Vladdy Jr who was AA's prospect. The current FO never came close to producing such a prospect
