Romeo Langford has signed an Exhibit 10, and will be playing for Westchester this season.

Romeo Langford News: Signed, waived by Knicks

Langford was signed to an Exhibit 10 contract and then waived by New York on Thursday.

This appears to be a procedural move that will help guide Langford to New York's G League team, the Westchester Knicks. The former Hoosier spent the 2024-25 season playing in France with BCM Gravelines-Dunkerque of the LNB Elite basketball league, where he averaged 2.0 points in 13.3 minutes over three games.

Here's a nostalgic article about the trade sending Romeo Langford and more to San Antonio for Derrick White.

The Derrick White trade is a disaster
Sorry, folks. Brad Stevens made his first major mistake as GM.

Heat waive Achiuwa.

Guess he's not precious to them.

It’s interesting that he had that take. If you look at impact metrics you could see White was a huge upgrade and well worth the additional assets at the time. And of course in hind sight we should have given the spurs a few more picks.

Bassey waived by ATL. I’m completely missing how this guy can’t make an NBA roster as a 2nd or 3rd big

The Rockets are starting Durant at guard.

Their starters for the opener: Amen Thompson, Durant, Jabari Smith, Sengun, Adams. That's whatever is above a very big lineup.

He strikes me as the classic "Quadruple A" guy. Looks really good against G-League, Summer League, maybe even preseason competition but just not quite good enough to crack a rotation full time at the NBA level.

Part of that is injuries. Part of it is he is slightly undersized for a center at 6'9 with am 8'11 standing reach and not skilled enough to play the 4.

Oh boy, that's not a lot of shooting.

Adams doesn't shoot threes at all.
Sengun shot 23% on 1.4 threes per 36.
Thompson shot 28% on 1.5 threes per 36.
Smith shot 35% on 5.8 threes per 36.
Durant shot 43%! on 5.9 threes per 36.

By way of comparison Jaylen Brown shot 6.0 three per 36 last year, so everybody in that lineup is a lower volume shooter than the Celtics lowest volume starter last year.

Ya seems crazy. I would want Sengun at C, Durant at PF and shooting around them. Sengun and 4 shooters (including KD at the 4) would be a nightmare to defend.

I don't buy that.

That's just a gimmick.

Ime will be back to a regular lineup after a couple of minutes in the 1st qtr.

I don't know how the C's are going to grab a single rebound If the Rockets are still starting this jumbo lineup when we play them lol

Just checked and we'll be playing Houston in 10 days.

It's big vs. small?
