This team is going to have to try their best just to make the team respectable. Best comparison is the Heat team the year before the Big 3 was assembled. That team was willed to the 5 seed.

I did a freudian slip here and said I won’t be hopeful if they lose but meant to say win. But I think they are gonna lose so I won’t edit the post. GG OP.

haha I thought you were embracing the tank!

What better way to start the year than a road win vs our in state rivals?

We have a lot of moving pieces who will try to carve out a role and establish themselves.

No Herro? Oh well. Lets see what our youth can do. Give me all the Jaquez, Jovic, Ware and Kaspar I can handle.

And if it doesnt work out, give me a good pick.

Go Heat!
ware, jovic are the guys I want to see Develop... They have potential to do something in the league

We are already know what bam , hero , wig, jjj And Michelle can give us

There is so much talent, just needs someone at top echelon. Bam is close, but he has not been dominant on offense in any season.

Even the Pistons with their ragtag band of mid to high echelon players needed Rasheed Wallace to push them over the edge. Is this team a Rasheed Wallace level player away from competing or is this the end of this cast of characters in the Heat saga? We will find out this season folks. Stay tuned.

The talent on this roster is overrated.

Jimmy used to be the head of the snake and was classes better than anyone else on the roster, yet the predominant narrative around those teams was that they needed a true 1A scorer next to him in order to truly be a title threat

Meaning, that would of pushed Bam and Herro down the pecking order (assuming either would still be on the team in that scenario)

This current team would require a Jimmy or better level player and another allstar type to get into that conversation.

As currently constructed, Mia is a lotto team

Back for the tank job. Who starts Ware or Jovic? Play and develop Kasper. Embrace the suck

We might not be particularly good this season, but I think we’re going to lean heavily on our younger players this year, supported by some vets.

Looking forward to seeing who is ready to step up. Hopefully a fun season here with you all!

Ware is questionable with a sprained ankle. Jaku and Herro are out.

I get the feeling we won't be seeing a lot of Kasparas this year.

Hopefully Ware is good to go, we need him and he needs reps.

I expect Ware to nut up and play the season opener. And don't you put that evil on Kasparas, ricky bobby. Hopefully no Spo shenanigans or injury concerns with the kid.

My gut feel is we'll red shirt year him. Banish him to the shadow realm like we did with Jovic for a year or so.

In the end it may help his development, but I would like to see some in game reps too.

He'd be the 3rd least athletic guy on that roster behind Adam's and sengun. Houston can play big because they are long, quick, and athletic.

Size is great at the 3, but if it was so easy you'd have guys like kuminga, John Collins, kuzma, siakam etc . be full time 3s. There's a reason they aren't. Like bam can guard 1 through 5, but that doesnt make him a good full time SF. That makes him a great switchable 5.

Except he has actual guard skills on ball, something none of the players mentioned does. I've already seen him at the 3, there's more positives than negatives for me.

Return to Miami Heat
