I like this the most out of all the deals in the past 24-48 hours.

Denver is the only true title contender of the teams who have handed out these contracts thus far. Braun is a key piece for them and meshes incredibly well with Joker.

Amount seems right considering his fit with Jokic.

Really? It seems a little pricey to me, but I suppose Braun could improve. Denver has a poor record of paying guys correctly on extensions though.

This pencils in improvement to me which seems reasonable.

I don’t have an issue with this deal alone. It’s good they got it done because Denver can’t afford more if they let him test FA.

But in two years when Denver needs to resign Jokic, they will have 120m tied up in just AG, Murray, Nnaji, and Braun.

Denver has the best player in the world and Braun fits really well with him.

Like the extra year for Denver.

How does it comp to Dyson Daniels (4/100), NAW (4/62), Merrill (4/38), Jerome (3/28), PJ (4/90), Herb Jones (3/68), Mikal (4/150), Caruso (4/81)?

These are the other 2-way wings signed this summer.

Mikal and PJ are the only other one of that group who is really 2 way imo. Daniels/NAW/Jones/Caruso are defensive specialist while Merrill/Jerome are offense only. I think he is better (and much younger) than PJ so i think its a fine deal

This is pretty standard 4th/5th starter money for a contender.

I think you're right about Herb.

But I see all the other guys as 2-way if they are positive on both ends I guess. I'm not sure what you define it as..

Recent trends have teams winning the deal where their restricted player hits test FA.

I don’t love giving 5 year deals to role players.

Think Denver financially be fine either way. Gives them a two year window to adjust.

Calling some of these players two-way wings seems generous tbh. All but Mikal, maybe PJ, have issues on one side of the ball or the other.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

I agree a bit pricey.
Makes Daniels deal like like a bargain.
Braun might grow into this contract though.

I wouldn't say Daniels is a posotive offensively.
Herb is hit or miss, has some bad stretches.
NAW is a good comp, I think NAW is better, in the new cap environment, it's too long a deal and a bit too high IMO.
